Description

"The Interpretation of Dreams" is, according to Freud himself, his most important work, a product of great inspiration, one of those that "come only once in the life of mortals".
"The Interpretation of Dreams" is neither an almanac nor a dream dictionary. It is the Royal Road that leads directly to the unconscious, the darkest area of the soul, filled with unfulfilled passions and repressed desires.
It is precisely this dark area that Freud set as the purpose of his life to explore. Thus, "The Interpretation of Dreams", the key to entering the unconscious, in many ways contains the entire subsequent edifice of psychoanalysis, and becomes the precursor to a series of great works, which belong more or less to the same chronological and thematic period.

The problem with the book is that it has many references to other researchers whose opinions are presented in Greek through citations, and the original texts are given in the main text, which makes reading difficult because on every page you have to refer to the end of the book for the citations, while the opposite could happen, the original text could be given in the citation for someone familiar with the researcher's native language who formulated the theory in question
