I fell asleep with the mask on and woke up with purple hair. Two washes later, it turned white. I didn't have a problem with hydration, after all, it has hyaluronic acid. But with the color, after leaving it on for so long, I don't know if I should use it again.
Indeed it eliminates orange tones but excessively dries out the hair. Definitely needs the use of a second mask for hydration and then oil. I prefer to have orange tones in my hair rather than it looking like straw.
Indeed removes orange tones!! It has been almost 6 months since the last time I dyed my hair and the highlights are still ash blonde without a trace of yellow or orange tones... Only gray!!!! Incredible product!!
So what can one say about Kerastase products... My hair is difficult and has a balayage technique. Therefore, it requires special care because the blonde part easily turns orange after a while. So, this mask, to cut a long story short, is miraculous. The only difficulty I encountered was that I applied it to my hair and left it on for exactly 5 minutes. Then I saw that the orange tones hadn't completely disappeared as much as I would have liked. So, I applied it again to my hair after combing it very well and dividing it into smaller sections, fearing that the areas without the mask would remain orange. I left it on for another 5-7 minutes and when I finally washed and dried my hair, it was like I had just come out of the hair salon. I was amazed! It had completely neutralized the orange tones! Also, I disagree with some other reviews regarding hydration. My hair is extremely soft. Even better than when I used the cicaextreme from the same line. That's it. Of course, I would buy it again, not just this one but the entire line!
It really neutralizes the orange tones! It does what it promises! However, unfortunately, it is not moisturizing, or at least not for curly hair like mine.. it needs another product for hydration for sure! Other than that, it's great.. the well-known Kerastase
If you have blonde hair, whether it's bleached, highlighted, or balayage, and pay attention: you mainly want to neutralize the warm orange and yellow tones that blond hair produces, then indeed we are talking about one of the best anti-yellow products out there!
I have tried many and I have never seen such strong and immediate action in neutralizing unwanted tones!
The problem, however, is that essentially it only offers that.
As a mask, it doesn't particularly moisturize the hair, and especially if you have dry or curly hair, the result is from minimally good to indifferent. It also doesn't provide reconstruction or a little extra care for the hair.
As a product, it doesn't claim to offer any of the above, but when you pay €30 something for a mask, well then I think as consumers we have the expectation for it to offer something more.
In short, I don't know if I would choose it again, but keep in mind that if you choose it, you definitely need a good moisturizing mask for afterwards.
Its scent is like the corresponding products of the series, a blend of lemon, citrus, and cedarwood.
Finally, I would like to point out that it stains incredibly wherever it falls, from clothes to furniture, and the stains don't come off, so be careful!
Wear gloves and it requires careful adherence to the time because it is potent, I think 5 minutes is enough, depending on your blonde.
So here we go! Perfect mask for blonde hair, it's like a paste and it reminds me of the quality of the green mask (therapist) that has keratin. It doesn't give a silky result but it fills the hair, leaves it dry and essentially treats blonde hair, which is very damaged! I recommend it because the result is very nice and intense, it's like you're doing a highlight every time... However, don't expect a silky result and I definitely recommend using an oil after showering and blow-drying... and unfortunately, those with hair damaged by bleaching will also need the therapist, because it's not for every wash... its action is so strong that I use it once every 3 washes. It's value for money, maybe it's the only blonde product I've seen that makes such a big difference in removing brassiness. But it requires caution, not too much time and not too much quantity...
