In the third edition of this book, a number of Case Studies have been incorporated at the end of Chapters 2 to 7, allowing the reader to better and more fully understand the "theory" of the respective text and to delve into the application of statistical techniques in real-world applications. Additionally, some typographical errors that appeared in the text of the second edition, which were mainly pointed out by our students, have been corrected.
