It is not the genuine controller. The remote control has some issue, I have put new batteries in it and throughout the day I change the position of the batteries more than 10 times for it to work and change channels or adjust the volume.

The app doesn't work and the i (info) button is missing.
Fair suggestion but it's not the original.

Unfortunately, it is not an authentic remote control, you can tell by its texture, the letters on the plastic, and the fact that the apps button does not work. On the other hand, I don't think anyone would expect to get an authentic one for 35 euros.
Update: after 5 days, the microphone stopped being able to record sound, even though the button was pressed and the TV entered voice search mode, nothing was recorded. It was returned and the authentic one was purchased from Sony for 65 euros (there is no exact replacement, but the front panel and buttons are made of the same rubber material)
