This is a bad product and I say this as a fan of Lamberts, whose products I systematically prefer for both their quality and price.
So this was a big disappointment. Having tried magnesium bisglycinate, I had seen very good results and absolutely no side effects. It was a great help for headaches and a sense of calm and focus that I can't remember the last time I felt. I was expecting the same from this particular product, which has a similar magnesium compound content to the other. Additionally, since it contains no vitamin B at all, I also took the B-50 from the same company (I mentioned I prefer it) and thought, "Now I'm getting the same amount of magnesium, with more complete coverage from vitamin B, so now I'm totally fine."
Unfortunately, I was proven wrong... No effect on headaches, nor on calmness and focus, and additionally, diarrhea. Fortunately, the side effect stopped immediately once I ceased using the product.
Therefore, I returned to the previous product I was taking and now I'm perfectly fine again.
I bought the product in order to see some improvement. I haven't used it yet, so I will come back and reserve my comment and rating. What I would like to evaluate is the inadequate packaging and the high level of danger. As you can see in the photos, there is no membrane or safety seal, which means that anyone can open the lid and do whatever they want with it. They can easily remove the product or anything else. What if it falls on the floor? Even if it's new, without the safety seal being removed, it will open and everything will spill out, which is dangerous if you have small children at home. Unfortunately, the first contact surprised me unpleasantly despite the positive reviews.
I have been using these capsules regularly for 5 months now. It has improved the neck problem I have (combined with exercise) and I believe it has also helped the function of the nervous system.
One of the best I have ever bought! It was recommended to me by a doctor because I had difficulty sleeping and palpitations, and it really helped me a lot. This is the second box I have bought, it is truly effective, I couldn't believe it!
A very good Magnesium dietary supplement.
It helps a lot with cramps and overall in the human body. Very useful and necessary for the better functioning of our body. A very good product from a reputable company and at an affordable price since it contains 180 capsules.
I will not analyze its chemical properties. Where magnesium with a medical prescription (a large water-soluble pill) did half the job, this, within 2 months, eliminated the nighttime cramps that were tormenting me after intense physical activity.
Update 07.02.2023: With the first purchase on 30.11.2020, after 2+ years of uninterrupted daily use, I confirm the beneficial action that the product had on me from the beginning and of course, I will continue to purchase it.
It is a very effective product for the reasons I use it.
Neck and muscle "grips"
Period pains. (perfect)
I have also used effervescent tablets with a medical prescription, so in comparison, the lamberts is much more effective!
I recommend it!!!!
The positive aspect here is that we have a daily dose (375mg) in one capsule. On the other hand, we have four generally cheap forms of magnesium. The fact that it states four different forms may seem like something desirable, but what concerns us is the magnesium. The best of the four forms here is citrate, while the others are the cheapest we can find.
And here we encounter one of the tricks of companies with labeling. The fact that it states 'Magnesium (as citrate, carbonate, oxide, and hydroxide) 375mg' does not tell us how much of it is citrate magnesium, how much is carbonate, etc.
Logic may suggest that it is around 100mg of magnesium per form, but we do not know this. Equally likely is that half of the magnesium here is in the form of oxide, which is a small molecule that allows for higher magnesium content (thus they manage to have so much magnesium in a small tablet), but this is also a low-absorption magnesium (up to 5% in numbers I have seen) which is almost insoluble in water.
So here we have an undefined composition that may serve the company more than us. Skip the 'four forms'. Focus on the fact that it is 375mg of magnesium mainly in cheap forms (carbonate, oxide, hydroxide) and see if it serves you at this price.
I do not have a particular opinion yet as I have only been using it for 2 weeks, the only thing I can say is that the tablets are small and easy to swallow, and they have not bothered my stomach.
I used it for two months, one capsule with my lunch.
Positive:
+ It relieved a pain I had in my right knee.
+ It helped my metabolism, I lost weight more easily.
+ It had no side effects.
Negative:
- It didn't help at all with my anxiety
Every time I take it, I get a terrible stomach ache. I tried it both on an empty stomach and after eating, and the same thing happened. I didn't continue using it
Not so good even though it claims to have such a high mg dosage. In comparison, Nature's Plus KalmaAssure Magnesium is much better with immediate results.
The entire required daily dosage of magnesium in just one capsule. Now, as for the "good" amounts of magnesium that some say it doesn't have, I didn't research it.. Expect results after systematic use for a month
Very good, I sleep very well and wake up more cheerful in the morning.
From what I read, magnesium is involved in over 300 processes in the body.
Good price with plenty of tablets.
