Description

It is not the chapter of poetry a declarative interpretation.

We wish to communicate its destination, for the reader to approach it on his own terms - the life that we have verbally reconstructed, exposing our soul to the five winds, we, the twelve poets, who constitute the "when I tell you poetry to come out"*, to sensitive recipients. Therefore, the poems are not cold conceptual constructs in a personal and self-referential dimension. They are spiritual electrons of the deepest core of Life, corresponding to common panhuman values, to common emotions and experiences.
They are voices thirsty for communication, knowledge, redemption, and joy.

They are calls to the soul of each reader, touching his inner experience. Because each poem now belongs to every daring reader, who begins to have a sincere contact with it.

Then this "poetic ownership" changes and passes to the boundaries of a "common ownership", where roles can change and acquire their poetic dimension, where poets become readers and readers become poets. Everyone is present now in an "expanded entity" of co-motion, emotional vigilance, and silent communication with the "Being" of our Self and the World.

*The title of the anthology is an invention of the poet-lyricist Vera Vasileiou-Petsa.
