The book "Democratic Orders - the praetorians of the Second Greek Republic" is a historical-political thriller that takes place in Greece during the misery and refugee crisis the day after the Asia Minor catastrophe. For the first time, the establishment and evolution of the Democratic Orders are presented in Greek historiography, as well as their recruitment methods, operating costs, their participation in various military movements of the time, the invasion of Bulgaria in 1925, and the pursuit of the perpetrators of the Petra robbery.

Also, for the first time, the establishment of the Hunters by Kondylis and their integration into the Democratic Orders is presented in detail, while the unprecedented events of September 9th are objectively and accurately exposed based on new information from archival material and the press of the time.

Finally, a brief reference is made to the Security Orders of the Occupation, which are directly linked for the first time to the interwar Democratic Orders.
