You weigh them and act accordingly. After 2 months, very satisfied and based on rough calculations (with quality beans at around €25-30/kg - you can find good beans at around €15-20/kg), it costs me around €12 per dose.

  After 8 years with the Saecco XSMall, it's time for an upgrade. I think it's the best coffee I've ever had from a home machine. It's perfect that everything is adjustable (how much coffee, how many ml to drip, how much water for an Americano, the temperature, etc.).
  Generally, I don't drink milk-based beverages, so I don't have much of an opinion on those functions. I made a cappuccino for a guest and it seemed very quick and efficient

  I have had the machine for 3 months.. I am completely satisfied with the choice and I believe it is worth its money and the investment will be recovered in a short period of time. Quality construction. It heats up immediately within a few seconds of activation. Available options include espresso, regular coffee, lungo, americano, and hot water. It accepts both whole bean and ground coffee. There is an option for automatic cleaning from coffee residues and salts. The packaging also includes a water filter. Many options for adjustments both in the grinder and in the temperature and quantity of coffee in order to achieve the perfect result according to your taste. Until you find the result that pleases you, you will burn quite a few coffees, but the result will leave you speechless. Incredible espresso, and great frothed milk for espresso and cappuccino. The steam wand makes the froth amazing, but you need to spend time practicing by making 5-6 coffees in order to learn how it works to achieve the desired result. It has nothing to envy from coffees made in professional machines in cafes. The choice will prove you right.
