Very lightweight iron, heats up the water very quickly, about 1.5 minutes. Great steam intensity, very easy to use, the best one I know. It's worth 100% of its money. My wife is very satisfied with its performance
In the first use of the device there was a strange smell. Expected.. In the second use of the device I saw the ironing cloth quite wet without the plate of the iron leaking water.
The steam is never strong and never weak. I don't know if it's due to the automatic temperature adjustment according to each fabric.
In the eco setting that I used for the first time, it hardly produced any steam.
The iron is light and its plate glides very nicely on fabrics.
Luckily it has a two-year warranty.
Overall, for its price, it is quite good.
I will come back with additional information.

It does not produce enough steam and after ten minutes of use the ironing cloth becomes damp. It emits steam only at the beginning and then the intensity drops. Sometimes it does not press correctly even a cotton pillowcase.
It also releases residues from the tank and has almost ruined all my white clothes with yellow stains that only come out with chlorine. Yesterday it stained my silk shirt.
The smell still remains as in the beginning. I usually bought a Stirella but I decided to give something more economical a chance. Spend a little more money and you will make up for it in the long run.
Very bad purchase.

I turned it on to warm up to iron
and it was throwing sparks as if it was short-circuiting at the back.
It smelled burnt and that was the end.

I took it to a technician and he changed the circuit board because it burned. 65 euros please. He told me not to leave it with water in the tank when I'm not using it.
I also realized that the iron was not working properly from the beginning. During use, the tank pump was constantly running and making a lot of noise.
After changing the circuit board, it stopped.
Currently, it is the lightest and most user-friendly iron on the market. (I have a problem with my hand, and I went to the exhibitions and tried one - to understand the difference in weight).
Within the first quarter, it had some issues: it was leaking water, probably from the base, but it stopped after use.
2) Within another quarter, it stopped producing steam, luckily I am in Athens, and the entire handle was replaced.
In terms of iron quality and how smoothly it glides on clothes - it is impeccable. (Something like an old favorite stirella).
Ergonomically, this specific model is perfect, regardless of the technical problems it presents.
Within 2.5 years of use, the steam system broke down twice... and now it is no longer covered by warranty... it is not justified for its price.
I would not buy it again.
I bought it about two years ago and from the first trimester it was releasing steam from the valve. I sent it for service because I have a 5-year warranty and they were supposed to fix it for me. They didn't do anything. It was releasing steam from the valve again, just with less intensity, until it completely blocked after 2 months. I sent it again to get it fixed and now I can say that it is as good as new. If it breaks again, I will ask for a replacement and I will buy a different brand. If it didn't have the problem with the valve, it would be the perfect ironing system!
As it happened to others, the iron started to release steam from the base.
In the instructions, it says that if this happens, you should immediately close it and call the service.
As soon as I did, they told me that I had to send it to Athens for them to see it.
Luckily, I didn't have to deal with it and the store where I bought it replaced it with another one.
On the second use, the iron had the same problem, so in the end, I returned it and bought an iron from another company.
6/1/21 iron purchase. On 6/16/2021, while ironing, it stopped producing steam from the iron and started producing it from the base. I went to read comments and was even more disappointed. Tomorrow, I will call to see what they will tell me. The iron has a 2-year warranty. Normally, it should be replaced, but I am reading disappointing comments.
Stay away!! From the first month with two uses suddenly pressing the button to release steam, the steam came out of the plastic base and not from the iron. It is not justified for it to break within a month. What will happen if it passes 3 or 4 months? Braun's representative did not accept the replacement with the warranty since I essentially received a defective iron. Unacceptable!!!
The iron is very powerful. It irons very easily, produces a lot of steam, has a large water tank, is very lightweight in the hand, and stands upright on the ironing board (for old-fashioned housewives who are used to it). Its materials are of high quality and the construction is sturdy. I recommend it.
We bought it with enthusiasm after seeing the reviews here. Unfortunately, it broke after 2 days. When pressing the button to release steam, the steam comes out from the plastic base, from the screws of the base, and from any point the steam can pass through... Great disappointment and now we have to send it back to see what happens. It didn't even manage to iron for a total of 1 hour...
- update 5/6/2021: After waiting for about 2 months from the service, they finally sent me back the iron after repairing it and not a new one. The third time I used it, it had the same problem again!!! I immediately took it back and they told me it will take another 2 months!!!
Terrible service from BRAUN and I hope this time they will send me a new one and not the clearly problematic one. However, I ordered a different brand because I can't wait that long anymore... Simply a failure.
-update 15-11-2021: Anyway, with so much trouble, I had bought another iron and I have no problems. I gave the replaced one they returned to me to a friend of mine and after a year, it had the same problem...
Today it arrived in my hands, after 2 uses the safety valve activated and steam is escaping from the base... There will be an update regarding the service, etc.... We are tangled again. 28.2.2021 waiting for delivery from a new iron store.
The best choice we have made. You can iron in half the time. The water lasts for 3 hours and doesn't run out. The plate is incredible and doesn't stick to the fabrics. When it collects salts, it notifies you and you can easily empty them in half a minute. The water heats up in 2 minutes as the manufacturer says. It is extremely lightweight and easy to transport thanks to the smart lock. Whoever chooses it will not regret it.
I recently got it and I will simply say that it is indeed VERY LIGHTWEIGHT!!! The bars only work if you constantly press the steam. However, I will come back after using it for a while to complete the review.
Quite good!!! It's a large boiler that lasts me a long time, it also has an eco mode but I don't use it because it's not powerful enough, only for sensitive fabrics. Very good iron! I was saved! I iron 3 loads of laundry in 45 minutes. No need to adjust the temperature and the water never runs out. If you press the steam button twice, it gives you continuous steam, which is very helpful for large clothes.

First impression, because I just received it now. Lightweight and convenient, it irons all fabrics perfectly, gliding smoothly over them. The only flaw for now is that it leaves water droplets on the ironing board, so that's why I give it 4 stars. I will update if I notice anything new during use.

This ironing system is worth every last euro. It produces so much steam that I use the eco setting for a lower steam output. Additionally, it has an exceptional plate as it can iron all types of clothes without having to change the temperature and without sticking.
