A minor author of erotic literature is invited by a mysterious organization to receive an award for his "bold, pioneering, and groundbreaking work." When he discovers that the award is a card that supposedly hypnotizes any female, turning her into a submissive servant of his erotic desires, he believes he has fallen victim to a tasteless prank. However, he soon discovers that the card's powers are real and gets entangled in a series of adventures and trials. While he is tempted to use the unprecedented power given to him, he is simultaneously tormented by moral and ethical dilemmas that deter him.
