Description

According to Plutarch, the Logia are not attributed to Julian the Chaldean, but to the disciples of the most ancient Zoroaster.
[The father, indeed, accomplished all things without exception, that is, the intelligible forms; for these are the completed and perfect, and he delivered them to the second God after himself, to rule and govern them. Therefore, if anything is produced by this God, taking as a model himself and the other intelligible substance, it owes its generation to the highest father. This second God, - the Logos argues - is first established by the nations of men, as many as believe that on the one hand there is a direct creator of this world, and on the other hand no one is superior to him.]
