In my case, the purchase was made solely upon the recommendation of the dentist for periodontitis, but I do not see, nor will I see any improvement, nor will it solve my problem. If using a simple toothpaste was enough to solve the issue of periodontitis, I wouldn't have to go to the dentist every 4 months.

Whatever you use for periodontitis, the only thing you will achieve is to prevent the problem from getting worse. The lost tooth bone will not regenerate, no matter what product you buy. Therefore, if your dentist recommends this specific one, go for it. If you want to start with preventive measures, ask your dentist for the best option, do not be influenced by what you read here or at least research it more.

Just because of the chlorhexidine, it yellows the teeth one shade after months of use. So I recommend what my dentist told me, to use it until the bleeding of the gums significantly subsides and then stop using it until there is a need again. When I stopped using it, I used a regular whitening toothpaste and they became whiter again, as they were before.
