Very fast connection with the mobile, without interference, clear sound, elegant and discreet design. High quality construction
Not such a clear sound, depending on the station of course, and from what I read it probably performs differently for everyone depending on the area and the station. In terms of charging, everything is functional.
Simply amazing for the price, it tuned in immediately to 108 MHz and played sound from Spotify with high fidelity. I don't understand why some say it has mono sound, maybe the component was defective, or it depends on the sound system it's connected to. In my case, I am referring to a Ford Focus Mk2 2006 Sport TiVCT 115 Hp, with the factory Ford/Sony 6000 CD sound system.
I have had it for three years and from the first month my conversation partner could not hear me during calls. For transferring music to the radio, it works perfectly. One star because I wanted it more for phone calls while driving.
Very easy to use with a simple setup, excellent sound quality without any issues personally really makes life easier, totally worth it, the microphone on the phones sounds quite clear and all the buttons work as they should without any problems.
Decent device, doesn't lose connection and doesn't make interference (I live in the countryside). Just don't expect to handle it from its buttons because as soon as you move it loses contact and starts over again!
As a hands-free device, it is simply impressive, it works perfectly in an open car and the person you are talking to can hear you flawlessly.
As a charger, it is incredibly fast, faster than well-known brands.
As a playback device, it is very reliable. It works seamlessly with your mobile phone and has good sound quality. The volume is a bit low, but it does the job and more, unless you are an audiophile, in which case no related device will satisfy you anyway.
It's fine overall! The parasites have to do with the antenna and the car radio. For Athens, set it to 100.1. In terms of sound quality, it's not like a CD, it's like 112kbps, like a radio station (obviously) but it's okay. The phone calls are fine, with a fairly sensitive microphone and the caller doesn't hear their voice as loudly as you have it on the speakers.
Sturdy construction and fast connection without interference. I live outside the city but even in the center where I drove, there was no problem. I use it in a 2012 Ford Fiesta
Well, this particular product is very powerful as long as you take the time to deal with it and explore it.
1. In terms of phone communication, it is very powerful and the person you are talking to can hear you clearly.
2. In terms of sound, it is very good, IF you find the right frequency (108fm) and adjust the EQ (Equalizer) of the car, phone, and any music-playing application. You may also need to adjust the sound from the device.
At first, I was disappointed but once you take these steps, you will have the appropriate results, which is why I give it 4 stars
I bought it 5 months ago+
For its price, it is decent and very good, the callers can hear you very well.
Its sound could be better, I mean, it needs quite a bit of lowering around 20 to 23 to eliminate the distortion, which means that the volume of the source should be increased significantly.
Something that no one has mentioned anywhere, neither on the internet nor in the reviews, and is the most important thing, is that it is not STEREO, meaning it only plays in mono. This is a major drawback. However, if you also get a fast charge cable, it does have fast charging.
Also, when I played songs of studio quality from a flash drive, no matter the volume, if I set it above 15-18 on the transmitter, it distorted, and the same thing happened with another friend's flash drive with songs downloaded from YouTube.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but it does its job, and even better than other Chinese ones in the range of 5 and 10 euros.
In my car, the USB couldn't connect to play music from there and it is very difficult to connect the phone with Bluetooth, without remembering it the next time you use it, so you have to do the same process over and over again.
It brought my car's dead audio system (Toyota Corolla 2003) back to life. It's worth buying. I recommend it.
I have it for about 2 years, maybe even more. Durable in general, it sometimes has interference but it depends on how you adjust it. It has generally saved me as I use it for music, speech, and charging. After two years, I will say that the USB charging ports have stopped providing power at random times. Also, regarding speech, you have to speak loudly to be heard as it has a very small microphone, but it does its job (it's not meant to capture the conversation but to answer while driving). Overall, I have no complaints, it's worth its money even though I see that the price has increased, the purchase was made around 20€. For Akai, very good construction.
Excellent first impression, fast connection with 3 clicks, without any problems. Tested in Thessaloniki center, tuned to 108.0 on a 2008 Corolla. So far, no interference (maybe minimal parasites - imperceptible). The good thing is that it remembers the station it was set to, even if you unplug it, it won't need to be set again. It will probably work even better outside the city. I have no opinion on charging - I don't even know if I will try it because I don't know if it has overvoltage protection, etc. Let's not burn any phones...
Excellent FM Transmitter from Akai. It does exactly what it promises. It really worth its money. The key is to find a frequency with the least interference and then everything works without any problems or interruptions. I have tried it in the city and outside and I am very satisfied.
If you live in a province/village/island, it's perfect. If you live in Athens, it has constant interference. I'm tired of hearing Red in the background. However, during trips outside Athens, its use was perfect, no interference at all.
It performs satisfactorily even in a noisy environment as long as you don't tune it to a specific station. At worst, it had slight interference (which is understandable and expected) in the city. Of course, on routes outside the city, it has no issues. It can play from a mobile phone or USB flash drive.
I think it is a very good solution for anyone who doesn't have an MP3 player in their car.
I am very satisfied with the purchase. I have had it for over two years. Even though the station is not completely clear and there is some interference, it works fine. The difficult part is, depending on the area you are in, finding a station that has no interference, but if you find one, it's great.
The microphone is not bad, but because the cigarette lighter in my car is low, I have to speak loudly for others to hear me. Additionally, when you speak, it is ideal to have found a station without interference.
I mainly use it for music through USB and for charging my phone, and it does these things very well
I have it for about 1+ year. I mainly use it with a flash drive. For its price, it's worth it. Initially, the microphone for calls is decent, they can hear me well. In terms of sound, it doesn't have the cleanest sound but that depends on where you are. Unfortunately, there aren't many empty stations to pair with, I use 108 FM. When I'm in the city center, it has worse sound due to interference, but the further you go, the better it gets. To conclude, the sound it provides is good and for its price, it's worth it for someone who doesn't have any other way to have music with Bluetooth/flash drive.
Watermelon is rubbish. Money wasted. Constant interference and I live in Kozani. It never sounded clear, especially the bass. It will probably end up in the trash.
I have a Ford Fiesta model from 2007. It didn't make immediate contact. I had difficulty finding the right position inside the ignition to activate it. But once I found it, the transmission didn't go anywhere. I hear some "snow" deep inside in songs played by Spotify, but they have low intensity and are not particularly annoying. Calls work perfectly with both the microphone and the speaker. And the installation, very, very easy.
P.S. I don't have a car antenna at all, as I stopped buying them after many thefts. Maybe that's why I don't have any interference issues from already occupied radio frequencies.
Connected to the factory CD-Radio in a 2004 Mazda 3. Tuned to 107.5 without any interference in the center of Athens. The sound is more than satisfactory for my taste and the calls I have made so far have been without any major issues. It looks beautiful, small, sturdy, and elegant. A decent choice for its job.
Tested on Opel Astra 2000+, it works great!
At first, I couldn't figure out how to make it work. After a tutorial, I saw that you have to press and hold the call button until it shows an indication to change the station number. Then, you select a station with "snow" and set the same station on your car radio. You connect it to Bluetooth and now you can choose music from your phone and listen to it in your car.
Basically, what it does is transmit through FM whatever it receives from your phone's Bluetooth, and the car antenna receives and reproduces this signal.
New update: I noticed that if you experience "snow" or static noise, you can increase the volume of your phone's sound and slightly decrease the volume of the car's sound, and this way the music plays better.
I got it as an upgrade to what I had so far (a transmitter of 5-6 euros from a well-known chain). Really, day and night... the connection was made directly, no "snow" no matter which station the synchronization is done and the sound quality is comparable to a wired connection.
Very good, I bought it to listen to Spotify from my mobile. Very easy connection with Bluetooth and no interference even on frequencies where there were stations. Perfect
This product is excellent. Within 2 minutes of taking it out of the box, I was able to listen to music from my phone in the car. The call quality is also excellent, no issues and the microphone is good.
The problem is that it is impossible to find a frequency that is not covered by someone who wants to become a radio producer and pirate. If there was a band in the middle, it might be better for Greece.
I just wasted 24 euros...
Don't buy it... it's completely rubbish, a total disappointment...
If you want clear sound, prefer a Bluetooth speaker that connects through AUX
very bad
Sturdy and high-quality construction. Easy connection with mobile and car radio. Flawless so far! Justifies the title best seller!!!
I bought 2, one for a 2009 Mercedes C220 and one for a '97 Opel Vectra, and it supports both perfectly and has a crystal clear sound!
