Very AVERAGE while the build quality seems good has fallen down 3 times and has broken and from something, one the bucket I stuck it after the button of the bucket and then the ones it has on the battery left right that hold it buttoned on the vacuum, the truth is that it gives a wall mount (I think wall), anyway it does not secure very well... POSITIVES: As a vacuum it has a 7.5/10
battery life the same, for a quick pass through a 90 square meter house, I don't know if it has spare parts I haven't looked, NEEDS CLEANING AFTER EVERY USE good to do its job, I blew the filter with air and almost dissolved what can I say guys very average, yes I regret buying it and I wouldn't buy it again I would spend more money on something better
I believe it is top for its money, I wonder how much more powerful or higher quality are vacuums that cost three times more, it sucks very powerfully, the battery generally lasts comfortably for stairs and a space of 70 square meters. Quality-wise, it seems fine to me, I would definitely recommend it to a friend
Excellent for its price, very good performance on carpets. It requires regular and thorough cleaning of the filters and works flawlessly with good battery life.
Very good until after a year and a half the rubber broke and it doesn't suck (see photo). I have sent a message for a replacement and we'll see.
I bought it because it had a nice color and as it turned out, that's the only nice thing it has... It hardly sucks anything - and I didn't have any high expectations. I don't have a pet so I didn't want it to collect hair, etc.
Total waste of money... I bought it two or three years ago when it cost about 120 euros... it doesn't pick up anything from the floor, the brush is made of plastic bristles and does nothing. Sometimes it doesn't even turn to pick up debris from the floor... they should withdraw it from the market because they are fooling people... I would have been better off throwing away the 120 euros I spent on this garbage...
It is a good vacuum cleaner, but unfortunately the rotating brushes often throw the dirt away instead of collecting it. :-( Additionally, the bin is not that easy to empty. Also, I have to be very careful because the plastic is not so sturdy, I would say. That's it.
It broke from the first use as soon as the battery ran out. It didn't work. I returned it for repair, but now it doesn't clean well, as its battery on the high setting only lasts a few seconds. On the low setting, it only cleans and not satisfactorily. I have left it in a corner, and every time I see it, I cry for my money. The worst purchase I have made.
Purchased on sale for €99 on 22/1. The first time it didn't turn on at all, so I took it for replacement (23/1) and got the same one, but when I opened the package, some parts were missing and the vacuum cleaner was used (the bin was full of dirt and scratches, the brush was dirty, and the battery was slightly swollen), as expected. I returned it to the store (28/1) where it was replaced again, and on the 3rd try, they brought me a sealed one from the warehouse. After the required charging, it only lasted 3 minutes with the 3 bars. On max, it dropped to 1.5 minutes, as expected. On the 4th visit to the store, I requested a refund. I give it 2 stars because in some parallel universe, the vacuum cleaner might work well.
Waste of money. It doesn't work at all! It only picks up a little bit of dust and maybe a few hairs, but only if you pass it slowly. It doesn't reach the corners! Completely lifeless! It's not even good as a broom or a dustpan. It's better to spend an extra 50€ to get something that does its job!
Honestly, I don't see a reason for someone to spend even 10 euros more to buy a "premium" brand like Black & Decker. I have had this vacuum cleaner for several years now and it works flawlessly without any noticeable decrease in battery life. It stands upright without a base, empties really easily, is very powerful, and overall, it's the best. A stick vacuum of similar power starts at twice the price - if I'm not mistaken - so for me, it's a no-brainer. I have even bought it for 3 relatives and they are all very satisfied!
edit: I read several comments about noise and malfunctioning after a few months. Having had the vacuum for a long time, I can confirm these comments. Indeed, after a while (depending on usage, of course), the vacuum makes a lot of noise in its attempt to suck and the battery indicator flashes and shuts off even though the battery is full. This phenomenon can be easily avoided with a good cleaning of the vacuum and all its accessories (handle, brush, etc.) internally. Once it is thoroughly and correctly cleaned, it returns to full functionality.
I do not recommend it. It does not have good absorbency, after a few months it starts having problems, the battery does not make good contact, and the noise it makes is deafening. Do not buy it
Very good. If you have a pet, it is just what you need and it collects daily hair satisfactorily.
I had bought it for about 75 euros... Although I consider that it was worth its money, I could have preferred a more reliable brand. Before it started causing problems, it vacuumed relatively well for a stick vacuum (not suitable for high-pile carpets) and the battery lasted about 20 minutes. In the first few months, one wheel on the sole broke. Also, I couldn't find a replacement filter in the market, so I had to buy it from outside. I have had it for less than a year and now when I turn it on, after 10 seconds the battery starts flashing and it completely shuts off, it doesn't provide power to the sole and it makes a strange noise as if it's going to explode.
I have the product for 11 months now. I have a 43 square meter house with a cat. It takes a little longer for the vacuum cleaner to collect everything well, especially the hair, but overall it has satisfied me. When it finishes its program and I vacuum 1-2 times a week, the battery is sufficient for the size of the house. In case you want to do a general cleaning or if you have to vacuum for more than 2 weeks, one charge is not enough. It was purchased exclusively for its size, but I consider it a good vacuum cleaner for small spaces with frequent use.
I can't say that I was thrilled with its absorbency or its battery. It's like a good handheld vacuum cleaner. It's good for hair and dust, but it doesn't absorb well from carpets.
The rating is based on the market price, which is often below 90€. I wouldn't buy it at prices like 150€ as there are better options available.
I also own the Ariete 2761, which is corded, and an older green Primo, also corded.
The "vacuum cleaner" was mainly purchased for use as a handheld vacuum (my wife's requirement), but I believed it would also work as a regular vacuum. Handheld vacuums with 18v power can be found for around 75€, so paying an extra 15€ for a 22v "vacuum" makes sense.
Now, onto the details.
Power - quite good during the first vacuuming, but the dustbin is small and with three cats, the filter quickly gets clogged, resulting in a decrease in performance. It still sucks quite well, mainly because it has a rotating brush that collects various debris. It performs moderately well with cat litter, meaning it requires more than two passes to pick up everything as it tends to push some pieces and throw away others. If it didn't have cat litter, I would say it is very good. The above applies to the high speed setting. There is no difference in picking up hair and dust on the low speed setting, but the high speed is needed for heavier and compact debris.
Battery - it lasts a long time on the low speed setting and long enough on the high speed setting to clean a whole house of about 120m2. We charge it 2 to 3 times a week.
Flexibility - This is its strong point. It stands upright on its own, taking up very little space. It cleans under tables, chairs, sofas, and furniture like a regular electric vacuum with a dustbin. It has the accessories (nozzle and fabric brush) permanently attached to the handle, so you can reach any spot quickly without having to go to the storage to find the attachment, etc. I find the light on the brush very useful because you can vacuum with very low light or with the lights off and see exactly where you haven't cleaned yet, as the dust is very visible with the light. I would like the attachment for corners to be a bit narrower because it doesn't fit, for example, in the gap between window frames, but that's a minor detail. We use the vacuum for the whole house, stairs, ceilings, everything (except for the gaps between window frames, where we use the Primo because of its narrower nozzle). It doesn't damage the floors, and overall, it doesn't feel heavy during use, so it doesn't tire out my wife, who has weak arms.
Cleaning - dustbin capacity. This is the most important issue for me. The dustbin is small and needs to be emptied and cleaned frequently, which is fine, but you have to stick your finger inside to remove the debris because it gets stuck between the filter and the dustbin. The major issue is the HEPA filter (which is a positive feature) that quickly gets clogged with dust. You can remove it and blow compressed air to clean it, but if you want to wash it (which needs to be done occasionally), you have to wait at least 24 hours for it to dry completely, leaving you without a vacuum. In some other vacuums, you can use a paper towel to collect most of the dust, but here there is no space for that, nor is there enough suction power to pull all the debris from the filters. In short, after the first vacuuming, you have limited power if you don't clean it, whereas the Primo had much more tolerance for this. The sole, on the other hand, does much better with much fewer hairs than some robot vacuums we have. Note here that I have put some protectors on the sole in certain areas because I had the impression that it might touch exposed plastic on the floor and I had a bad experience with the Ariete 2761, which caused small scratches on the floor in no time, so I decided not to risk it, but 99% of the time the protectors are not needed.
I have no issues with the build quality, nor has the bin ever opened while in motion or anything like that. It is lightweight in hand, there is no need to lift it and reposition it, and as for durability, I have had it for 5 months without any issues. It is also positive that there are replacement batteries available, so you can get a new one when the old one wears out (which will happen at some point with mathematical accuracy).
In conclusion, for under 90 euros, it is a very decent choice, as long as one does not expect it to perform like a Dyson. I would not buy it for over 120 euros, I would go for a Xiaomi or one of its subsidiaries for 150 euros, which, from what I understand, do a better overall job.
It is not a very convenient broom.. the foot compared to other brooms is smaller, so you need more time to sweep. It is also not very powerful. Finally, it is not very lightweight to hold for hours. The Miele corded broom I have is much more convenient even though I have to plug and unplug the cord every time
We have it for 3 months. It is very convenient to do a quick clean-up in the afternoon after lunch and one in the evening, the battery is enough. It is incredibly convenient if there are small children, whatever falls, snap, you pick it up. Once a week now with the other vacuum cleaner, but the house is cleaned just fine with this one, it collects a lot and it shows in the bin after each use! Satisfactory on carpets as well. Awesome value for money. I hope it lasts over time.
1 year in my possession mediocre to bad..better for this money a more reliable brand. 120€ purchase not worth 50 less maybe. Battery mediocre. Fake construction. And the worst part is that the battery does not make good contact and it comes off while you are vacuuming, resulting in it stopping.
Good construction and has satisfactory suction power. For a quick pass through the house, it is just what you need. I bought it because I have pets and with this vacuum it is very easy to clean the floor and the sofas from hair. The only downside is that it only picks up small debris. If it is something larger than 2cm, it does not pick it up with the brushes it has on the sole. I would say it is a very good purchase at the price of €89 that I got it on sale.
Edit: 10 months after the purchase, it no longer works. The performance started to dramatically decrease at 6 months and at 10 months it is useless. It makes a lot of noise, the battery dies quickly, and it doesn't even suck up dust. In short, a waste of money!!
It was purchased for a home with 2 cats. Our main vacuum cleaner is a robot vacuum, and this one was bought as a supplementary one for quick clean-ups and for picking up the litter that falls from the cats' litter box. It picks up everything quickly and easily, without having to plug and unplug cords or carry a large vacuum cleaner around the whole house. It is small and can be easily stored, and I can clean the whole house in 10 minutes. I will also get it as a gift for my relatives. Very good purchase
A very good and value-for-money purchase that - to be honest - I didn't expect. And that's because Ariete is not one of the companies that is known/has a reputation for its vacuums. It was purchased 2 months ago for 99 euros from a local store. Everything I have to say has already been mentioned in previous reviews, so I won't repeat them. If it had a triangular shape instead of a rectangular one (for corners), it would be perfect.
Having in my possession a Dyson V7 with a similar (100W motor as DYSON), the comparison is inevitable, so here we go:
IN GENERAL: for 100-120 euros, I believe it is a highly fair choice as a secondary vacuum for quick cleaning without hassle with cords, etc. (for students, it could even be a primary solution). I expected much less performance and it pleasantly surprised me. Specifically, for those who don't mind reading:
(+) Price (half of the V7, at least at the price I bought it back then)
(+) Charging time (2/3 of the time compared to the V7)
(+) Suction power (better than the V7. The V7 relies entirely on the rotating head, while I noticed that this Ariete model can pick up hair from the floor, a bit before the head passes over them). Even the low speed will satisfy. Tested on carpets and floors. Equally good.
(+) Battery life (in ECO mode, because in MAX mode, all cordless vacuums don't last long, and that's reasonable)
(+) Light on the head of the brush (not that you will be vacuuming at 11 pm and suddenly need light, but okay... it's an additional feature that doesn't bother anyone)
(+) Accessories included in the price, not extra (some models of the V7 are "bare," while others are complete... but it's not a one-stop-shop... you pay and get accordingly)
(+) HEPA filter (the V7 only offered this in one version)
(+) Stands upright (parked) if needed, without assistance.
(+) It has a charging and battery indicator (the V7 doesn't have it, but later models do)
(-) Noise (not that it's anything special, but a bit noisier than the V7)
(-) For better results, clean the bin/filter frequently. The V7 wasn't affected as much in suction, but on the other hand, it didn't have as many filters.
(-) The rotating heads are not always the most suitable if you want to pick up rice grains, cereals, and similar things, as rotating can "throw" them further if not sucked up. In that case, it's better to use another attachment and then use the rotating head.
(-) Plastic quality (for 110 euros that I bought it for, it's not bad, but here the V7 excels). Here, I should also mention another user's observation that the bin opens: it's true that the bin's attachments to the motor are not the most secure, and it opened for me once too. However, in this case, it seems that I was at fault because I was holding the motor sideways and low near the floor without the wand, and as I hit the suction nozzle on the bottom of the refrigerator, the bin detached rotationally.
-> Could it have a stronger/tighter attachment? Definitely yes.
-> If you vacuum upright and don't hit the nozzle sideways, left, and right, will it affect you? Probably not. Nevertheless, it is more delicate than Dyson models, but all models of this type are, no doubt.
Time will tell how durable it is and what it offers in terms of quality... I will come back with a 6-month evaluation.
UPDATE 2022/10/11:
I didn't come back with a 6-month evaluation, but in the end, we reached a more long-term assessment.
All of the above still apply with 3 observations after so much use:
(#) The vacuum continues to do its job, with good suction and relatively good battery life (slightly reduced but not anything tragic for use after so much time).
(#) The clips of the battery, where they attach to the base, broke after the vacuum fell from an upright position. Nevertheless, the battery still "sticks" in its compartment without any interruptions or removal/falling of the battery during use.
(#) The issue with the bin that can open requires more attention now. You have to be more careful with any hits of the handle so that it doesn't open accidentally. I don't know if this has been fixed in future versions/batches. However, the fact that it exists makes me lower the previous rating by one star.
It has solved my hands, guys, I highly recommend it. Even the rugs that collect dust, it cleans them easily, and we also have a dog in the family which adds an extra level of difficulty! My husband cleans the car in 5 minutes. I dust and sweep the whole house in a quarter of an hour, and if something falls during the day, everything is clean again in a minute. A very good purchase.
The vacuum cleaner is powerful on floor-tiles that have been used and as a cat owner, I can say it has helped me a lot. Dust, hair, crumbs, etc., even the little pebbles from the cat litter, it sucks them up in an instant... even on the small staircase!
Easy to use, it folds well and has attachments (nozzle, brush). The bin opens easily and the filters can be washed with water. Overall, it is very convenient, you forget about cables, bulkiness, and constantly searching for power outlets! In terms of storage, it is practical as it stands upright with all the attachments on the handle. It has not been tested on carpets yet, but I am optimistic that it will work for simple everyday cleaning. For heavier tasks, there are regular electric ones, but less frequently used.
Another positive aspect that I did not see mentioned much, and for me is very important, is that its battery is removable, so when it runs out, the vacuum cleaner is not rendered useless, you simply replace the battery at a cost of less than 40 Euros, as I saw.
At the current price of 100 Euros, I think it is a fair choice and I recommend it!
Very easy to use. It is lightweight, with a flexible rotating brush and satisfactory suction. You don't even think about using a broom. It's not as powerful as a regular vacuum, but for maintenance, it's great! And it picks up dust and hair just fine on carpets. The truth is that the first use excited me!! And emptying the bin seemed easy to me.
Average device for me, as it mainly cleans with brushes and less with suction, so if it doesn't fit perfectly on the floor, a lot of debris escapes. The worst part is that unfortunately, the lids open with the slightest touch and the bin with the filter falls apart, causing the trash to fall or even the battery to fall with a slight mishandling. I think it's just a matter of time for something to break from a fall. The device is also not very useful for use without a handle. The positives are the battery that lasts a long time and the easy handling on turns. The fact that it has 2 power levels doesn't matter to me because it doesn't do the job on the low power level. I bought it for 105€ from a physical store

The battery lasts for days depending on usage.
Even on carpets, it sucks up quite well because it has brushes underneath that rotate and collect the dirt... it is very flexible and can be stored with its hook wherever you want... it's worth its money!
Economical solution but at the same time qualitative. It may lack a bit in suction power but it does its job. For a vacuum cleaner that we will need immediately to quickly pick up crumbs and everyday dirt, it is ideal. I would not recommend it for general house cleaning and thorough cleaning. For these tasks, there is a regular broom.
