While Aristotle was capturing and formulating the essence of poetic art, at that very moment he was delivering to humanity a text that will always move it, because it will confront its weaknesses. To give the floor to the Poetics itself means to recognize it as a field of criteria and not as a source of information, to approach it as an Archimedean support that allows us, along with the text, to read ourselves.
