Acquiring historical knowledge and the prerequisites for studying history, and therefore the corresponding textbooks, should not be subject to teaching terms; likewise their offer: the offer and acquisition of historical knowledge have no other usefulness than understanding the social environment by the social subject. It is obvious that in today's new edition of "Contemporary World" the necessary adjustments of the content have been made; I would say: those imposed by the time distance from the first edition, but I must explain what this time distance can impose.
