I tried it for the first time today and I must say I was positively impressed. Usually, I use a curl cream and a gel, but I applied it on its own to see what results it gives. It seems to have a very good hold for a curl cream. I don't think I have found another one that can be worn on its own. However, it does leave a very slight feeling of dryness, which I attribute to its strong hold. I think it doesn't have silicones, so if you follow the curly girl method, it is suitable. I think for its price, it's okay, maybe not as a basic styling cream but it's good to have at home.
