A concise Theology of the Old Testament must fulfill a dual purpose: to discuss the most important parts of the Old Testament teaching and at the same time to provide stimuli for the composition, on the part of the reader, of the individual Old Testament views on God, who is certainly not a god of many kinds, but wants to be the one and only Yahweh. The purpose of this Concise Theology is not just to talk about the Old Testament, but to let its own voice be heard.
