The journey of the Kytherians in Alexandria from the 18th to the 20th century reveals a dynamic population group with interesting aspects in the economic, social, and cultural life of Egypt. The publication focuses on: a) the presence of Greeks in Egypt and Alexandria and their activities in the economic, social, and cultural sectors, with an emphasis on the Greek Community of Alexandria; b) the flows and routes of the first Kytherians in this city; c) the activities of the Kytherian Brotherhood of Alexandria; d) Kytherian elements based on burial permits during this period; e) attitudes, dispositions, and evaluation of the Kytherians regarding their life in Alexandria; and f) the life and work of ten prominent Kytherians who are connected to Alexandria, whose presence and activities have gained translocal significance, while their philanthropy towards their birthplace serves as a model of social sensitivity for future generations.
