Very hard lever, no suction cups, so you have to hold it against the base with one hand, although that doesn't work either. I hardly see myself spending time with it, unfortunately.

I haven't bought this specific Joystick yet, and the 5 stars I gave only apply if paragraph 4 below is true.
Let me explain some things for those who are not so familiar with it:
1. The original Comp Pro from the English company "DYNAMICS marketing ltd" and specifically from the "Extra" version and onwards, was probably the best choice one could make in the '80s and '90s. Not only did it not require any suction cups, but on the contrary, with this Joystick, the myth about suction cups that keep you stuck to the table fell apart! We had tried joysticks and joysticks, but none like this one! However, it has rubber feet that stabilize it on any surface.
2. About 10-15 years ago (I don't remember exactly), a USB version was released for PC in blue color (which also existed in the original as a later version), by the German company Speedlink (the same one that manufactured the present one).
3. Both the first and the second had very good build quality, although there was a slight (and worse) difference in the control of the second one, precisely because the joystick was softer and somewhat easier to deviate from the correct direction.
4. The Joystick in this offer is from the same company that released the second one (Speedlink), and therefore, IF it is identical, it should work very well. If, on the other hand, after all these years they changed and worsened the design, resulting in the malfunctions that some people mention, then when I get it, I will come back here to note my experience.

Bad design, hard and expensive now. In 2014 it was sold for 7 euros by a well-known old chain of electronics and I had bought three for myself and friends. 26 euros for this? It's laughable and only worth discussing.

I hoped that the previous reviews were not right, but unfortunately...
I'll start by saying that the base is very narrow. Combined with the excessively tall and hard lever, it easily lifts off the desk. Even if it had suction cups on the base, I don't think it would help (if you don't have glass on your desk, no suction cup will do the job). The buttons are equally hard to press, which does make a satisfying "click" sound, but they are quite large, so you need to center them to press them correctly/quickly (if you don't press in the center, they won't be pressed correctly).
On the other hand, as a construction, it is sturdy. I think it is the only choice for Amiga Emulator* or other MAME (if you haven't kept the old Joysticks and haven't bought an adapter) and overall, the situation with the many buttons becomes somewhat accustomed to and eventually becomes tolerable (but not satisfactory), so 2.5/5.
It is light years away from the one, unique, and unbeatable Aneroussis Pac-Man Joystick.

*Because the left button is number 4 and Amiga Forever only recognizes the right one (which is number 1), for those who use it:
Tools > Options > Input: Game Controller for Android (this is how it is recognized on Windows) > Edit > PC Device: Game Controller for Android > Button 1 > Edit > Assignment: Button > Button: press the left button. > Ok, etc

Due to its sturdy construction and the fact that there is nothing in the market like an arcade joystick at a price below 30 euros, it is worth it for those who play mame for fun. However, not for many hours because your fingers will hurt since it does not have suction cups and you have to hold it. If a solution is found to make it stable on the desk, then it will be the perfect joystick.

I bought it because it is a joystick with a "ball" handle, however:
a) It does not have suction cups on the bottom, so I have to use the other hand not only to shoot but also to hold the joystick steady.
b) The ball handle has a large distance from the body of the joystick, so on the one hand, it requires long distances from one position to another (e.g. from bottom right to upper left), making the reactions slow, and on the other hand, it tires the other hand that is trying to hold the body of the joystick steady. Overall, it does not provide the feeling of the ball handle joysticks that arcade machines had.
c) The large buttons do not have a good "pressing" feeling. They give the impression that they need to be clicked twice, as if they get stuck on an obstacle!
One useful gadget it has is the autoshoot switch, however, I generally do not recommend it for those interested in ball handle joysticks

Very good Joystick! It is a must-have gift for anyone who loves retro games!

Positives:
- It provides you with an application with 20 nice games, it works with all Mame32 without any configuration. I tried it on ePSXe with some Ms Pac-man type ROMs.
- It has a switch on the back that activates the Rapid fire mode, something like "turbo" on the buttons that presses the button multiple times for you.
- Sturdy construction, you feel like you have a premium joystick in your hands and not something Chinese that will break after a week.
- Nice characteristic sound "click" on each button press.

For games on Steam, the use of the "x360ce Beta 4.0" application is necessary - It works great on Atari Vault.

Negatives:
- It does not have a suction cup underneath, and if you don't have a good surface, it slides a bit.
- I would like it to have 2-3 extra buttons like the small ones in the center, playing on ePSXe it was quite difficult to bind the necessary buttons. (X, O, D, P, Start, etc.)
