At the end of the fifteenth century, an old Flemish master intricately hides within one of his paintings, in the form of a chess game, the key to a secret that could change the history of Europe. Five centuries later, a young art restorer, a well-known antique dealer, and an eccentric chess player join forces determined to solve this enigma.
