The Ajax StarterKit Plus is designed for the effective protection of homes, apartments, offices, as well as commercial spaces from intrusion. It consists of the smart control panel Ajax Hub Plus, the MotionProtect motion detector, the DoorProtect contact, and the SpaceControl.

The following information pertains to the Ajax Hub Plus system

  • 4 times more stable: It features two SIM card slots that support 2G and 3G networks. This allows you to use SIM cards from two different providers without any risk of communication failure. It can instantly switch from 2G to 3G networks and vice versa. If one SIM card does not respond, the second one is automatically activated.
  • Enhanced reliability: It now allows the use of an additional backup internet connection by connecting the central unit to networks of two independent communication providers: the main one – via Ethernet and the backup one – via Wi-Fi. If one provider's connection fails, it will remain connected and continue to monitor and protect your space.

      I chose this specific alarm system because of its reliability. Indeed, it works perfectly without giving any false alarms or glitches. It is very important that it communicates with two networks (internet-gsm). You can gradually enrich it with many peripherals. The installation can be done by someone who has basic knowledge of electronics if you want to save on installation costs. Many functions are available through the app.
      Certainly, the cost is higher than other systems, but I don't think it's random. Besides, we are talking about security, so personally, I believe it's not worth being stingy in order to have a proper alarm.
