This book contains poems written after 1998 and continues the theme of the previous one ("The sky is the ground", 1998), which had as its epigraph the following verse from T.S. Eliot's "Four Quartets": "The poetry does not matter", with which this great poet wanted to define poetry as primarily a spiritual path. In the collection "The sky is the ground", the view has been recorded poetically that poetry matters when it is a means (with aesthetic quality of course) that leads to spiritual values, and in an attitude (on the part of the poet) socially, ethically and spiritually responsible, which the author of this book succinctly calls the attitude of the spirit. This attitude must be constantly and diversely deposited with generosity and selflessness, without considering the subsequent loneliness. Then the human creature, as the author writes in a previous book of his ("Well with sky", 1994), is in harmony with the "power that makes the light/ tender and soft grass/ the darkness".
