I doubt if there is any Garnier product that has worked for me. I know that they are more affordable and therefore do not use the best ingredients, but it is a subsidiary of L'Oreal, which operates in the same framework, but at least their products do not irritate.

I have combination skin and after 4 uses, it managed to dry out my face so much that the skin around my mouth cracked and peeled. I got blackheads on my forehead and whiteheads on my cheeks, and whatever cream I apply now stings. I do not have particularly sensitive skin or acne tendencies, but whatever I use from Garnier, whether it is for oily or sensitive skin, makes me produce extra oil and pimples.

The only reason I continue to try them is because they are affordable, I see good reviews and I think it must do something for me, but it's a waste of money.

I have combination skin (normal to dry) and this specific product caused dehydration and pimples. I would not recommend it for dry skin.

I am very happy that I discovered this particular product. I use it after cleansing my face and before moisturizing. I think it helps regulate oiliness as for a week when I didn't use it, my skin became oily faster than when I used the lotion. Definitely a good toning lotion for oily skin.
