Description

Innovative analysis of both Greek and international literature. Ethical-philosophical and ethical-regulatory foundations of the international system are examined in a historical and contemporary context, under the prism of strict scientific neutrality. The phenomenon of European integration, as well as many other phenomena, are thoroughly analyzed to draw conclusions about the evolution of modern international relations.
The author seeks and ultimately identifies ethical factors on the basis of which crises and decisions of international politics compatible with the achievements of culture at the level of international relations could be founded.
The socio-political diversity of the world and the ontological claim of collective freedom, it is inferred, are the main criteria, a fact that is consistent with the political culture created by the fundamental principles of international law and the idea of collective security. Thus, among many other things, the concept and content of the nation-state, international institutions and European integration, the destabilizing role of internationalism, cosmopolitanism and hegemony, and other causes of war are analyzed, which are interwoven between a stable - peaceful international system and the existing world on the threshold of the 21st century. It should be noted that in all chapters an attempt is made to reduce the political philosophy views of Panagiotis Kondylis to the level of political philosophy of international relations.
