Electric remote-controlled car with remote control from Rastar for ages 6 and up, which operates on batteries, either regular or rechargeable. It has a 1:14 scale, meaning its size is 14 times smaller than the actual Ferrari model.
This remote-controlled vehicle is ideal for tracks with a smooth surface mainly made of asphalt or tar, like car roads.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
A classic remote-controlled car with good quality materials, proper shrinking and speed.
The remote control we received does not have a folding metal antenna (as shown in the pictures) but an integrated plastic one.
To operate it, you need a lot of space due to its speed and turning diameter. It will be difficult to use it indoors unless you constantly crash it into walls and furniture.
Its great feature is that it does not have rubber on the rear wheels, so it can "drift" and perform instant reversals. However, this makes it slightly slower than other similar models, especially on long distances.
Another advantage is that it has a switch on the remote control.
One of the downsides of the model is definitely the batteries. It takes 5 AA batteries for the car and 2 AA batteries for the remote control. This makes it somewhat heavy, but mainly power-consuming. With continuous use for 5 days, the car batteries are depleted and need to be replaced.
Another strange incident is that we left this model next to another one from the same company (Rastar) and their remote controls got mixed up (something happened with the RC frequencies and with the same remote control, 2 cars were moving)! We removed the batteries for a day and luckily they returned to normal.
Overall, for the money it costs, it is a good choice for children up to 10 years old. If it had a rechargeable battery with electricity, it would be perfect.
