It is a comprehensive book that deals almost exclusively with the human face and its characteristics. The work begins with a lengthy introduction and two chapters dedicated to the principles of Chinese physiognomy.

Then, it proceeds to analyze the various features of the face one by one (eyes, nose, lips, etc.). The sketches depicting these features are exceptional. They greatly facilitate the reader in recognizing their own or their friends' features. The book also explores the resemblance between humans and various animals towards the end.

In this book, I managed to find all the characteristics of my face with great accuracy. Something I couldn't do with all the other physiognomy books I own. This led me to the conclusion that the art of Chinese physiognomy is much richer and more developed compared to Western physiognomy.

The book is written in a very simple and understandable language, and it is doubtful if you will find even a single mistake throughout the work. Additionally, its organization is excellent. The font used is of regular size and easily readable. The book has a medium size (24×17).

It has a soft cover and the photograph on the cover is quite aesthetically pleasing. The binding of the book is very good.
