2035. The Third World War devastated humanity. The planet became deserted. The metropolises turned to ashes. The railway lines are now rusting. Satellites orbit alone. Only those who, as soon as they heard the alarm sirens, managed to run to the gates of the Moscow Metro, survived.
There, dozens of meters deep, inside tunnels and stations, people wait for the end of the world, having created a new microcosm in its place. They cling to life with all their might and refuse to surrender to their fate.
They dream of returning to the surface of the earth someday when the levels of radiation from the nuclear bombings have dropped.
And they do not give up the idea of finding other survivors...
METRO 2035 continues and completes the thrilling story of Artyom, the iconic hero we met in the first two parts of Dmitry Glukhovsky's novel trilogy.
Millions of readers have been waiting for this book for years. However, it can also be read independently, anyone can start their initiation into the saga that conquered Russia and the whole world.

Wonderful book for anyone who has played the games and vice versa. I liked that it also has a map inside the book, like a little gift for the reader. We love such gestures
Just like the other books in the series, it's worth 100%. The only thing that changed from the previous ones is the map.
Excellent book, a fair ending to the METRO series and Artyom.
Positives
The plot is much more interesting, I can say, than the previous 2 books in the series. It has its parts that you don't want to close the book, the plot captivated me especially from the middle of the book onwards, as the author starts unraveling the mysteries he had created and makes it easy to visualize the narrative. The updated map is welcome and once you have learned most of the station names, it is easy to read and follow our hero's journey.
Negatives
I caught myself getting tired many times from the author's description of every psychological state or description of emotions that he brought into the narrative. It wasn't as exhausting as in the previous books, but he analyzes it more than necessary and it distracts from the meaning of the story.
