As Dostoevsky aptly notes in "Notes from Underground," if man seeks to remain human and not "a piano key," he must demonstrate consistency in his human nature. Education and its institutionalized forms, the dissemination of pedagogical values, constitute the one and only answer, the one and only orientation.
