When the devil decides to appear in Moscow, in flesh and bone, he chooses two demons for his entourage, a naked girl, and a big black cat that speaks, walks on its hind legs, smokes only cigars, and settles her accounts with an automatic. His purpose is to disturb everything with the anarchic pranks he concocts, awakening the worst in people. In his wake, mental asylums fill up, the forces of law and order are paralyzed, and people are humiliated. Amidst this chaos, only two beings remain standing: the Master, who is wholeheartedly devoted to the search for truth, and his beloved Margarita.
