The heaters of this specific company are among the most expensive on the market, so you expect the money you will spend to correspond to a certain quality and functionality. The thermostat of my NTL4T 15 does not seem to work properly. For example, I set the temperature to 18 degrees, the room reaches this temperature relatively quickly, but the heater continues to operate, raising the temperature to 20, 21+ degrees, resulting in unnecessary power consumption. Maybe only my machine has a problem, but unfortunately I don't have time to send it for service and the representatives will probably tell me that the thermostat works fine. If I had known this beforehand, I would have kept my old oil radiator. Some people write that if you turn off the switch, it loses its settings, but this does not need to happen because if you lower the temperature below 7 degrees, it goes off. I also noticed some issues with the automatic programs. For example, the one I use is supposed to turn on at 17:00, but I have observed it turning on before 15:00, resulting in unnecessary power consumption again.

I bought it for supplementary heating. The house is a studio apartment and is heated with bodies from a natural gas burner. The use I make with the nobo is, when I turn off the heating from the natural gas at night, I let the nobo work at night until the morning when I go to work. I have it in the bedroom, which is about 9 square meters, I sleep with the door open, and it does what I want. It keeps the room warm, breaks the cold. It is also completely silent. So as long as it works at night continuously, it has never woken me up. If it is set to a temperature to start and stop, you may hear a small sound from expansions and contractions, but it is not loud enough to wake you up. I bought the wheels just for it to stand, not to move it constantly. So it's fine. Its downside is that it does not have a handle to hold and move it. It also has a short cable of about 1.10 meters. When I bought it, I turned it on to work for an hour outside on the balcony to air it out. Also, one downside is that it almost always loses its settings when it is turned off. It doesn't bother me because I simply open it and it starts to heat. It's just annoying for someone who wants to set it up, I imagine that every time they open it, they have to declare the current time.

I bought this specific heater (€136) for one child's room and a Radialight for the other child's room. Basically, after 2 days of operation, I permanently installed it on the wall. It has 2 basic settings (Eco & Comfort), where you can set the 2 temperatures yourself, e.g. 19 and 24. You will never feel the warmth of a central heating radiator with oil or natural gas, but it will heat the room to acceptable levels in about half an hour. At night, we have it at a temperature of 19-20 in Eco mode and it flashes to maintain a stable temperature in the room. The purchase is recent, and the electricity bill has not arrived yet! I will update... It probably won't consume much with 1500W... but we'll see about that! I see that it does the job as an auxiliary source of heat! However, I don't know if it will manage and if it is cost-effective as a permanent heat source. If it loses power, it loses the programming settings, time, and day. Also, you can increase or decrease the temperature by 1 degree, e.g. 19, 20, 21, etc. It doesn't smell (okay, it smelled slightly during the first 5 minutes of operation), it doesn't make noise, and it doesn't have a fan. I haven't figured out if it heats more at 25 than at 21, or if it simply turns on the same in both settings when, for example, the room temperature is 19... and it just shuts off when it reaches those temperatures

I have had it for almost a week. So far, I am completely satisfied. It is slim, quiet, and has very good performance. The digital thermostat is also very good. I have an electricity meter and in terms of consumption, I can say that it burns about 1kWh per hour even though it is 2000 watts. Specifically, in 13 hours of use, my meter showed a cost of €0.78 (price per kWh is €0.06, as I am with a company outside of the main electricity provider). In the bedroom, which is about 15 square meters, it heats up incredibly quickly and very pleasantly, like a radiator. In the living room, which is about 40 square meters, it doesn't have the same performance, but you can still feel the warmth. The 2000 watts are suitable for a space up to 20 square meters, the 1500 watts for a space of 15 square meters, etc. This information was provided by the company itself.
-Negatively, and hence the 4 stars, is that when it is unplugged, it does not retain the time and date, however, it is very easy to reset within a minute.
But the worst part is the wheels. €25 for plastic wheels is ridiculous. You are afraid to move it in case they break. Truly awful. However, with a little caution, you will be fine.

I had high expectations from this particular heater. This is because of its origin (Norway)... However, I later found out that the company has been acquired by another British company. I must admit that I was initially impressed with its functionality. It does indeed heat up the space and has a precise thermostat, which helps control the temperature and consequently saves energy. It has a nice design and is well-made. It heats even in difficult conditions. I use it in a room that is not well-insulated and it works perfectly fine. In colder climates, it is sufficient to combine it with a traditional heating system (such as a radiator with an oil or gas boiler) to heat the entire house or with enhanced insulation systems (and one such heater per room of 15-20 square meters).

However, my main expectation from the product was greatly disappointed... I chose this type of heating device (heater) because I dislike the dryness that all other electric heaters cause in the space, despite reading descriptions and promises to the contrary regarding heaters. Unfortunately, they are constantly lying! The product clearly causes dryness in the space, and not just a little, like traditional radiators. I can confirm this as I have an (reliable) air purifier with room humidity indicators in the space where I operate the heater (not to mention that I felt my throat and nose drying out after using the heater). So, while the humidity in the room before turning on the heater is at ideal levels (45%), after two hours of the heater's operation, the room humidity drops to 20-25%, which is prohibitive for those suffering from chronic respiratory conditions (such as rhinitis, bronchitis, allergies, etc.) like myself. To avoid this result, I now have to install a humidifier, meaning I have to go to the bedroom and turn on three electric devices in order to have ideal conditions of temperature and humidity. In other words, I fell for it and got disappointed... I am truly sorry for the descriptions given by companies regarding the non-drying effect of heaters. They are extremely misleading. The descriptions regarding energy efficiency are also misleading, as the only efficiency (of this heater) comes from the accuracy of the thermostat, as mentioned earlier. The smell that the heater emits when it has not been used for a week or more is also disappointing. The manual states that such a smell will only occur the first time it is plugged in, but in practice, every time it is turned on after a period of inactivity of about a week, it emits a very unpleasant smell. What a shame. What a shame, because it is an expensive product (I bought it for 180 euros per piece, plus the wheels that I didn't understand why they had an extra charge, I bought 2 sets) that does not satisfy, does not live up to the descriptions given to it in basic characteristics. Finally, the panel with its electric functions is relatively difficult to use. And after a year of use, the product goes from being "silent" to "relatively silent". In the end, nothing beats traditional radiators. I took a gamble and lost.

The heater is impeccable in design, finish, and of course in immediate heating in a 20 sqm area. I read the detailed cost calculations above and hesitated for a moment, but in the end, I proceeded with the purchase. Fortunately! I have one thing to say: I turn it on from 19:00-23:00, and the space becomes an oven, initially at 25 degrees for half an hour according to the sun indicator, and then manually at 22 degrees because I'm not familiar with the settings, and the warmth lasts until 2-3 in the morning. I'm wearing just a t-shirt, wow! Now, if it costs me 4 euros per day, well, okay guys, all heating systems are expensive. And for those who use computers for calculations, I tell them to go and get a heat pump and let us pay an extra 100 euros per month for 4 months of winter. I agree that the wheels are indeed bad, they should give them for free. And let the representatives stop bragging about Norwegian origin and say that they are Irish. FINALLY, WE GOT WARM! Without drying the atmosphere, without headaches, and above all, QUIETLY. Wonderful purchase, I highly recommend it.

Because I don't have central heating, I bought 5 electric heaters for four different rooms. After a lot of research to find an alternative heating solution, I found online that Nobo is a top company in electric heaters for over 20 years. This alone was the main criterion for me to continue my search. Then I saw their features and their modern design, and I decided to purchase them.

The temperature performance in the room is very fast, and the sensation is exactly like the main heating of the apartment building. They are quiet, they don't dry out the atmosphere, and they don't emit hot air like air conditioners, which can make the atmosphere suffocating. They turn off when they reach the desired temperature, resulting in less work and lower energy consumption.

My electricity bill is almost the same as last year's bill for the same period, which is logical, but it still benefits me since I don't have to pay for oil/natural gas. Also, maybe an inverter air conditioner consumes less energy, but the feeling of warmth inside the room cannot be compared, and the fact that the warm air doesn't blow on you is essential.

Because I also live abroad, I will purchase the Nobo Eco Hub in the future for remote control of the heaters.

After purchasing an NT4S 20, I decided to try the NTL4T 20, which has the difference of having a digital thermostat. This heater is essentially the same as the previous one, except for the thermostat. Therefore, the same comments apply, which I will list below. However, the new thermostat was rather disappointing. It does not display the current room temperature and its programming is limited. One cannot set their own programs, they can only choose one of the 9 pre-set programs for each day of the week. I had to use my own programmer on the socket. For this reason alone, I give it 4 stars. It is important to note that the positive aspects of room heating and electricity consumption depend on the sizing of the heater. With 2000 W, one cannot heat more than 10-12 square meters of space. Otherwise, it simply wastes electricity.

This heater has truly excellent build quality and performance. The materials and paint are exceptional, and it has the advantage that the air grilles and thermostat are on its top surface, hidden from the front. This gives it both perfect performance (there is no obstruction to the air outlet and no material to absorb heat) and a nice appearance from the front. If you place it on the wall, it looks like a thin and beautiful unified panel without giving away what it is. I believe that heaters in general, and this one in particular, are the best solution for heating, due to their low purchase cost, zero maintenance needs, reliability, silent operation without moving parts, simplicity, and quality of heating (good heat distribution). Air conditioners may be more efficient, but they have a high purchase, installation, and maintenance cost, they last fewer years, they have many moving parts, and the heating they produce is not of such good quality (in my opinion) because it involves moving air currents that require 1-2 degrees higher on the thermostat. Radiant heating systems (such as tile stoves) have poor heat distribution, with hot and cold spots.

It has been purchased for the living room of a house with poor insulation and it performs very well. Set at 22°C during the day and 16°C at night, and programmed with daily schedules, it manages to maintain the space at a good temperature and provides a feeling of warmth similar to that of radiators. Truly quiet to the point where you have to look at the indicator on top to see if it's working or not. The wheels are purchased separately (at least from the Greek dealership where the purchase was made), so there is an additional cost. Unfortunately, the wheels are not as high quality as the rest of the construction. They are completely plastic and often come off during movement. Finally, the positives include its very nice minimal appearance and the 7-year warranty that covers it. Waiting for the electricity bill to draw conclusions about its consumption.

Update:
Unfortunately, I couldn't see the consumption in detail because I didn't have the appropriate equipment (a power meter installed in the outlet of the device) and the electricity bills sent by the power company didn't help either, as they only occasionally show the information I needed. However, the overall impression it left was that it did not exceed in consumption, as there was no significant amount indicating excessive electricity usage. In my opinion, it falls within the normal range of consumption.

After extensive research, I concluded that Nobo is one of the top companies in heaters.
Dimplex and Nobo are the same company, with British Dimplex acquiring Norwegian Nobo.

It was purchased with the intention of heating one bedroom. Heaters, as known, can cover up to approximately 25 square meters with the most powerful heater of 3,000 watts (at least that's what they say).

The installed bedroom has good insulation, 12.5 square meters, good windows, and the measurements were taken with a reputable digital thermometer, hygrometer, and digital consumption meter.

Let's say at this point that the 2,000-watt Nobo (and according to the Skroutz guide) covers up to 16 square meters, so a larger unit was installed.

Before starting, the room had:
Temperature: 17.8 degrees
Humidity: 57%
Outside temperature: 12 degrees
Ideal conditions for achieving quick room heating...

After exactly 3 hours of operation, whether set at 21 degrees or at maximum, it continuously operates consuming steadily between 1,800-1,900 watts without any interruptions.
The results?
Temperature: 18.5 degrees
Humidity: 62%

A temperature increase of 0.7 degrees after 3 hours of continuous operation!!
Consumption? 5.5 kWh!! Otherwise, 1.83 kWh/hour.
Shall I translate it into euros to make it clearer? kWh roughly costs with VAT, taxes, etc., 0.20 euros. In other words, for 3 hours of operation, the device consumed 5.5 kWh X 0.20 = 1.1 €.

Quite a lot!! If it doesn't seem like a lot to you, do the math with a minimum of 10 hours of device operation (if it ever reaches the desired temperature and the thermostat shuts off, which doesn't happen):
10 hours X 1.83 kWh = 18.3 kWh X 0.20€ = 3.66 €/day to heat a 12.5 square meter bedroom!!!
And the performance? A temperature increase of 0.7 degrees?? Absolutely terrible...

Shall we do the math for the month?
30 days X 3.66€ = 109.8 €/month for one bedroom!! hahaha
Of course, the numbers are if it operates only for 10 hours in a 24-hour period... Because if you expect the room to reach 20 degrees and the thermostat to shut off, the bill will probably have overtaken you.

In conclusion:
Those who have written positive reviews (forgive me) are either biased or have no knowledge of measurements and consumption...

So what do we do?
1. If you have central/autonomous oil/natural gas heating, it is clearly more economical than any heater... If it costs 100+ euros/month for 12.5 square meters, think about the bill that will come for 70-100 square meters to be covered with heaters...

2. If there is no central/autonomous heating in the space (oil or natural gas), by far the most economical solution is a good inverter air conditioner (if you like it as a heating source).

3. A heat accumulator is clearly more economical than a heater. It achieves full charge in 6-8 hours and lasts for a 24-hour period or more (I have heat accumulators that are 30 years old).
Heaters are a disappointment...

UPDATE: after 6 hours of continuous operation, the room did not reach 21 degrees. So, I set the thermostat to 20 degrees (the digital thermometer showed 19 degrees in the room) and finally the thermostat turned on and off.
The thermostat settings were:
- 1 minute and a few seconds closed (zero consumption)
- 30 - 40 seconds open (1,800-1,900 watts)
If you close the body, the room starts to cool down, so I left it on for 18 hours continuously to see what the thermostat would achieve.
The consumption dropped to 1.3 kWh per hour instead of 1.8 kWh, better but still very high.
In the 18 hours with an external temperature of 12 degrees, it burned 22 kWh, translation 22 kWh X 0.20€ = 4.4€
Too many... way too many...
