Description

SEPTEMBER 1938

Hitler is determined to start the war. Chamberlain desperately tries to maintain peace. The decision will be made in a city that will henceforth remain in history for what happened there: Munich. As Chamberlain's plane crosses the English Channel and Hitler's train struggles from Berlin, two young men travel, each hiding their own secrets.

Hugh Legat is one of Chamberlain's personal secretaries. Paul Hartmann is a German diplomat and member of the resistance against Hitler. They were very good friends at Oxford, before Hitler came to power, and haven't seen each other since the last time they met in Munich six years ago. Now, as the future of Europe looks bleak, their paths will cross again.

When the risk is so high, who do you want and can betray? Your friends, your family, your country, or your conscience? A spy thriller about faith and betrayal, set against the fateful Munich Conference where the fate of Europe was played out between the four Great Powers: England, Germany, France, and Italy.
