The purpose of this book is to provide a concise but comprehensive overview of the elements that make up the science of constitutional law.
The material is presented in two levels. The larger letters provide the main lines, while the smaller ones add depth, details, or examples. During the first reading, one can skip the smaller letters in order to quickly follow the skeleton and avoid the fatigue initially caused by the additional developments. The same typographic separation is useful during revisions on the eve of exams.
The frequent citations within quotation marks aim to familiarize with the use of sources.
In this edition, a fourth part is added. Thus, this book is the only one, out of those written under the Constitution of 1975, which includes all four parts of the branch, namely the theoretical, historical, organizational, and human rights parts. The first three parts (pages 17-461) correspond to the major course of constitutional law in the first semester of studies, and the fourth part (pages 463-572) corresponds to the course on individual and social rights in the fourth semester. Knowledge from all parts is necessary for the applications of public law at the end of studies.
