This book aims to be a useful tool for students of the 1st Gymnasium, helping them understand the subject matter and providing material for additional practice. Additionally, our desire is for students' first contact with Ancient Greek Language to be immediate, substantial, and enjoyable.

The book is divided into 18 units. The first unit is an introduction to Ancient Greek Language. Each of the remaining units includes:

- Introductory information about the life and work of the author of each text
- The ancient text and its corresponding translation
- Explanatory comments and answers to questions from the textbook
- Grammatical recognition of the words in the text
- Tables of inflectional examples of nouns, adjectives, participles
- Temporal substitutions of verbs and nominal forms
- Syntactic analysis
- Theory on lexical and etymological phenomena
- Grammar and syntax theory
- Answers to all lexical, grammatical, and syntactic exercises from the textbook
- Translation of parallel texts and answers to questions from the textbook
- Additional questions and reinforcement exercises (with their answers)
- Evaluation criteria (with their answers)
- Present tense of verbs
