Nakayama Reciprocating Saw BS1080. Ergonomically designed for effortless work. Durable over time and use. Blade change without tool.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Sturdy construction without tiring the hand. The blade kicks if forced. Perhaps a higher quality one would solve the problem.
The battery died and there is only one available on the internet, which costs as much as the entire machine. I threw away the Nakayama and ordered a reciprocating saw
I have experience with pruning olive trees, but the battery doesn't last long. It dies after working on 3 trees. I would like at least two additional batteries to be able to prune at least 10 trees. Maybe it doesn't last long because I cut thick branches.
As a machine, it is sturdy and does a very good job. I am satisfied, the only negative aspect is the battery.
And it's not easy to find a battery to buy
I bought it for 60 euros with 2 batteries, it is a powerful machine but it needs the appropriate blade to perform well. I pruned fig trees very easily (not with the blade that came with it), it cuts easily up to 8 centimeters. If it doesn't grip the wood properly, then all the vibrations are transferred to the hand and of course it doesn't cut. I haven't tried it on metal, only on dry and green wood. At a price of around 45 euros, it is a very good purchase
Take one with you next time you go for olives and you will remember me.
The charging lasts about 45 minutes, but in this time you have unloaded most of the medium branches.
I got it to cut some calluses of about 6 cm in length. It does a very good job, but I was disappointed with the battery life. It only lasts for half an hour.
It is quite good for its price. Maybe with a change of blade, it could cut even better. For pruning small branches on olive trees and lemon trees that I used it for, it is great. However, after some use, your hand gets tired due to the vibrations.

For small diameter branches.... economical!

better circular saw. It is not user-friendly.
