I declare myself a fan of DMC since I was a kid, but to be honest, this particular one didn't impress me. For someone who has only played this game, it might seem complete. I have spent countless hours playing the games and understanding the story, and ultimately, personally, it didn't satisfy me. I was expecting something more like the fourth one in terms of characters and found the storyline a bit rushed.

An improved DMC in all areas. Very enjoyable game.

    - Nice story, nothing crazy, just an interesting detail at the end.
    - Graphics are exceptional, from the colors, the 60 FPS to the unique environments.
    - Powerful sound, I just wish there was more rock, like in the older DMC games.
    - Improved and of course enjoyable combat system, with different weapons and techniques and plenty of upgrades.
    - Great variety of small and medium enemies, as well as nice boss fights.
    - Quite a long duration, it pulls you to play it again, to find Secret Missions, Blue and Purple Orbs, and to achieve better ratings in battles.

One negative aspect might be the fact that, while you can play with 3 characters, the other 2 do not have the weapons that Dante has and their combat system is simply more linear.

Without being the best game I have ever played, DMC 5 is a title that deserves five stars. Its graphics are exceptional, the sound is very nice, and the gameplay is traditionally one of the best you can find in a single-player hack n slash game.

Its story will not disappoint you, and if you even slightly liked the previous DMC games, this one will definitely win you over. If I could find a negative point, it might be that I completed it relatively quickly in 4-5 days, so I couldn't fully identify with the game's characters. Nevertheless, the whole family of playable characters in DMC 5 was a delight.

Nero, Dante, and (V)irgil at their best.

First time I write a review for a game. Well guys. I have played all the DMC games and I can say, as another person has mentioned, it is a classic DMC. Tremendous sound, with a good story (nothing amazing of course, you don't get this game for the story anyway) and truly AMAZING combat system without exaggeration. The essence of this game is the gameplay. It excels there. Incredibly and impressively combos. At the price it is now, get it for fun if you are looking for this kind of game.

I love Devil May Cry, especially 3 and 4. Great story, epic gameplay, it's the best. However, I was really disappointed with 5. I can't exactly explain why, but the feeling just wasn't the same. Please be careful and consider it before buying it. I recommend it with caution.

The game has very nice graphics, etc. Okay
The characters are not as we knew them in the previous games, as personalities they did not impress me, there are good and epic scenes like in all DMC games but as a general conclusion I have to say that I got bored relatively quickly and I gave up, maybe I have grown up enough for this kind of games now.

Holy Shit, powerful, classic DMC with music beyond any expectation, messy plot, and crazy battle system. It's worth its low price without a second thought. The only negative thing is that it typically ends in a cliffhanger and we will wait a long time for the next installment of the series, if it ever comes.

One of the most enjoyable games of all time and the best Devil May Cry for me, with a great story and challenging bosses, Vergil being one of the toughest and best bosses ever in a game!!! Rating: 10/10

Devil May Cry 5 is the first in the series that I played. I admit that the combat system it has impressed me (precise, immediate, and at the same time entertaining). Technically, the game is excellent (crystal-clear graphics and exceptional visual environments)...
...but it lacks the essential ingredient of gaming, the pace.
The developers chose to divide the story into 20 chapters - missions, of relatively short duration, including 12 secret missions, of very short duration, and added many cut scenes within them. If we also consider the long loading times after each choice and sub-choice from the menu, a continuous interruption of the pace becomes noticeable, which somewhat spoils the overall experience.
The truth is that I would prefer a more free-flowing and uninterrupted storyline, but even with its drawbacks, the game offered me 10 hours of pure entertainment. Therefore, I have no regrets about my purchase.

An impressive game with great quality (especially in the cutscenes), multiple combos, and weapons.
The only major downside for me was the duration and the bosses.
In a previous title that I had played, there was a much greater variety of demons to fight and levels.
The battles are very addictive but also very short... just when you start getting into the rhythm, the next cinematic comes and the level ends... it doesn't let you enjoy it as much as I would like!

If you are a fan of the series and those who have played it from the beginning, then it is worth playing the last chapter of Sparda's son's story. Those of you who say that you got bored of the story, just play the previous ones and fill in the gaps to understand what you played.

Awesome continuation of the story of DMC 4. However, someone who is not familiar with the series will not understand much of the plot (not that it has any Oscar-worthy plot, but at least to understand the basics). It took me 15 hours to finish the game on normal difficulty, and the truth is that I was afraid because I heard that it is very short and I expected to see the end credits in seven hours. It is as big as it should be, in short.
The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is the classic hack and slash that we loved in the previous games, the music and soundtrack are painful and run flawlessly even on a regular PS4. What else could one ask for?
At the price it is now, 30€, it's a blind purchase

The only good and improved things it has are the graphics and the fact that it allows you to choose a character sometimes (between V, Dante, Nero). Otherwise: Terrible and tragically boring story that in many points makes no sense or meaning (with 2,3 good twists though), compared to the previous (reboot) awful soundtrack and battle system, a dose of Chinese-ness that, although it had disappeared in the previous titles, returned, very "narrow" levels that had no trace of freedom, very short duration and a terrible/clumsy ending that seemed like they just got bored halfway through and said "finish it however, let's go home". Also, ANNOYINGly many useless and insignificant mini cut scenes every 2,3 minutes (mostly before every battle). Easily one of the worst in the series, I don't know how much of a series groupie you have to be to like this thing.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is very, very small compared to what you pay for and they throw in 5 levels of difficulty when you finish it to justify it, if you understand what I mean. Nevertheless, the game is awesome

The game is simply top-notch, I have nothing else to say. The story and gameplay are the best, it's worth every last euro. Also, you won't get bored even though it's a 12-13 hour story to unlock everything, you need at least 100 hours if you become skilled enough to beat the Dante Must Die and Hell and Hell modes.

The fans of the series have been waiting for it for years and it did not disappoint us. The epitome of the hack n' slash genre from the king of the genre.

DMC 3 was the game that made me actively engage with gaming. DMC 5 created nostalgia for a purer era in gaming with old school mechanics.

Great story, three characters with different gameplay each, exceptional graphics. Those of you who finish it, I would recommend doing additional playthroughs on higher difficulties that you unlock, in order to discover the range of mechanics that the game offers.

Because I have played all the previous games, I cannot say that Dante is the exact same person. That masculine guy who enjoys playing with his opponent, who fears nothing, who tells jokes, I don't see that in the current hero. We see something from Dante, but not the same. Playing with three different characters is nice and exciting, but personally, something is missing for me. It has a continuation from the previous game and it unfolds nicely, but it doesn't have the charm of the old ones. You may not agree with what I'm saying, but for me, this is true. Personally, I got the trilogy on both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. I wish they would release Devil May Cry 4 on PlayStation 4.

Capcom woke up with another epic after the great RE2 Remake!

Well guys, this particular DMC is exactly the continuation of DMC4 that we've been waiting for all these years and it took us a while to get our hands on it, since DMC was the failed version of Dante!
-The graphics are amazing, 1080p 60fps on PS4 PRO (What else could we ask for)
-The soundtrack makes you turn up the volume to the max!
-The characters are as cool as they should be!
    -Longer duration than previous DMCs!
-Gameplay, addictive, classic hack n slash!

The 60 euros were worth it... And the truth is I didn't expect to play such a worthy title!

I have no complaints except that I would have liked Nero to have the classic Anime look (but oh well)
    So what can we say....
    - KEEP IT STYLISH -
