You can style it however you want! The hold is good; it's not medium strength as the company presents it, and to wash it out, you need two washes! Guys, I have been using this product for years. It's like a cream, you can really do whatever you want with your hair and it holds all day. I've seen some comments saying it's not easy to wash out. It's waterproof and of course it's hard to wash out, but on the other hand, with a little water, it gives a shine and a wet look that makes it even better for me. I have oily hair, thick strands, and my hair is highlighted (blonde highlights). I have been using this product for many years. It is truly wonderful, it is matte but not overly matte, it has good hold but I can also run my hands through my hair during the day without my hands sticking afterwards or feeling my hair heavy.

I also personally appreciate that it doesn't have that "classic" strong smell that many (if not all) products targeting men have, which in many similar products reminds me of deodorant. Lastly, this product is reasonably priced and I have often purchased it with a discount.
