  I've always seen those being hated on in memes, maybe because of their shape. After trying them on, I found them to be some of the best footwear to ever exist. Very comfy and well ventilated, can be worn with or without socks, and they look really nice.
  They are a little tight for me on the top section, and I cannot wear them comfortably with thick socks. For the reference, my shoe size normally is 43 EU and I ordered the 43-44 variant.

  They are one of the most comfortable and flexible "shoes" I have ever used. Soft, lightweight, suitable for both winter and summer, from using them as house slippers to wearing them at the beach. They are easy to clean with a little water and dry immediately. The older pair I have has been with me for over 3 years without any serious wear and tear.
  Because the sandals are closed with a few holes around, after a while your feet might sweat, however, it is not bothersome and they do not smell. Due to their design, it is difficult for them to empty out the sand or small pebbles if they get filled at the beach. Also, when they are wet, your foot tends to slip inside. Surprisingly, they are very stable on wet floors, tiles, etc. No comparison to other plastic flip-flops on the market.
  Finally, with the strap around the ankle, you can drive, and it is a lifesaver for those who tend to hit their toes on furniture corners ;-)
  Initially, I was discouraged by their chunky style, but after the first pair, I saw in practice that comfort and practicality are more important.
  For the record, I have one pair in gray and two pairs of flip-flops in dual color. They are very comfortable in size. I wear 45-46 in sports shoes and I bought the sandals in size 43-44 (M10-W12). I bought the dual color ones one size smaller, 42-43 (M9-W11).
  Overall, it is a very good choice, value for money for anyone looking for a versatile "shoe" especially for summer.
