Description

With the official completion of the third memorandum "rescue program", political confrontations, promises for better days, and insinuations for the abolition of recently voted laws that cut pensions and popular incomes are increasing. However, concerns about the world of work are also growing. Will the cuts in wages and pensions stop? What will happen with the labor jungle and tax bleeding? What will finally remain of public property? How much longer will the "state of emergency" that carves out basic democratic rights last? How far will the surrender of national and popular sovereignty go?

The book attempts to answer these and a series of other questions related to the so-called "post-memorandum period". The arrangement of the political system, the impact on culture, the effects on the environment are explored. The experience of other European countries that "exited" the memoranda earlier and are often presented as successful examples is also investigated.

At the same time, proposals for the next day are formulated. With the deep conviction that radical solutions require the resurgence of a militant popular movement, the conditions are sought for the end of the memoranda to be equivalent to the end of austerity and debtocracy.
