The first thing we need to mention is that we are reviewing a coffee with a price of about 18-20 Euros per kilogram. Its acidity (although Arabica) is moderate to light. (it can be even lighter with slower extraction). If someone prefers a fruity acidic coffee, then they should definitely look for another brand. The "body" is decent, you feel like you're drinking coffee. Its aftertaste is relatively flat, harmonizes well with the "body", doesn't last long, and immediately recognizes the... "Lavazza!!". Its aroma is, in our opinion, the weak point of these beans. Its intensity is moderate to strong without offering any surprises. In general, these beans provide a balanced coffee and are aimed at someone who is looking for a coffee that is not strong, has a moderately intense aroma, doesn't "scratch" and only produces a "bitterness". For a single espresso, I would recommend not less than 10 grams of ground coffee in 25-30ml of water. For ristretto, I wouldn't recommend it in any coffee-water ratio. For lungo, I estimate that 13-14 grams in 55ml of water will give a decent taste result. For someone who has reached the point of enjoying single-origin coffees, with "vibrant" and textured acidity, aroma, body, aftertaste, etc. (at prices of at least 30 Euros per kilogram and above), then this coffee will not satisfy them. However, it can be offered to a visitor/friend who wants something simple and easy.

Very mediocre. It was tested in Moka, filter, and Cold Brew. It's like supermarket coffee. The reason I bought it was because it's 100% Arabica and it had high ratings in the characteristics of the store where I saw it.

A manual burr grinder with ceramic blades was used, taking care of the speed and grind size for the respective types of coffee.

The coffee is drinkable, but for its price, I don't think it's worth it.

Edit: Now I see it's around 13 euros per kilo and I had tried it at around 20 euros. If I didn't buy coffee directly from roasters (15-17 euros per kilo), I would probably consider it at 13 euros.

For freddo espresso, by no means a very very sour coffee with a strange taste, espresso barely drinkable, first time I'm throwing away a bag of coffee.

Honest coffee, quite a stronger flavor than the rossa. Better hot than freddo. One of the best up to €20

Quite bitter for my taste and not just mine because others also drank it, nothing special as a coffee and I wonder about the good reviews.

It is a simple and good coffee. For its price, it is satisfactory, but compared to the ones I have tried, Jacobs at 20-22€ is somewhat better and CARRARO at 30€ is clearly better.
There are many brands available, so I generally try different ones constantly.
I haven't found any bad companies, just some are objectively better and some subjectively better

20 grams of coffee with extraction in 64 grams, very good result with strong aroma and quite good taste. The only thing that lacks a little is the body of the coffee, and for this reason, 4 stars

I was really surprised when I tried this particular coffee because I generally like Lavazza as a company...
It's not drinkable when it's hot... the coffee is sour and ruins the whole taste for me... it's okay when it's cold like a frappuccino, but still borderline for me...
The truth is, for the 17.4€ I bought it, I wouldn't buy it again.
I'm just stating my opinion from the test I did by buying 2 kilograms of coffee... Maybe someone else might like this result...
For me, I would prefer something else..

I tried this coffee because I saw good reviews and of course it was available at the supermarket. I wanted it to make a frothy cappuccino and it really is perfect compared to the previous one that didn't have good extraction and is almost double the price of Mrs Rose Arabica Espresso Coffee. This coffee, besides having a very good extraction, has a very nice taste according to my preferences. I made the coffee with the Delonghi Dedica Pump Automatic Espresso Machine 1300W, 15-bar pressure, and believe me, you won't regret it. From now on, I will buy this coffee not only because it's almost half the price I used to pay, but also because it has great extraction and taste. With 2 ice cubes in the mix with some sugar and 2 or 3 ice cubes in the glass... you can also make a nice frothy milk with cinnamon if you like, and you won't regret it. If you do regret it, please write in the comments why, because I don't want to lie. I highly recommend it for a perfect frothy cappuccino 100%.

I recommend reading the comment of user skrtsgr, which is detailed and covers everything, and I will add that it produces good results as a espresso, with approximately 19g of coffee and 55ml of extraction. If you identify yourself as a hipster or belong to Gen Z, skip this and look for single-origin coffees that sell at specialty shops, for €11 per quarter... For a slightly more 90s/00s espresso, at a price that doesn't hurt, this is a good product!

Perhaps the best thing available for this price, right now. Fans of authentic espresso know that coffee must be 100% arabica and this option is the cheapest but also the best, as long as we are talking about home use. Now, if you like very fancy things, it definitely won't impress you. But if you are practical and just want a quality coffee for a good espresso, whether hot or cold, there is no reason to spend a single euro more than this.

The value for money on this coffee is the best. I have tried many coffees and have ended up with 3 main ones. The Lavazza Oro and the two Hausbrandt Gourmet and HH. The Hausbrandt ones are of course more expensive, close to 10€/kg. But at the price of 15€/kg, I think Lavazza Oro is the best I have tried. Generally, though, coffees are a very subjective matter, so I am speaking personally for myself.

After many tests with various blends, I can confidently say that Lavazza Arabica Oro is a very honest and value for money choice. Tested in freddo and cappuccino, it is a balanced, sweet and light in taste coffee. The only negative is that its aromas do not last as long as I would like. However, due to its cost, it will remain one of my top choices as coffee.

Very good quality coffee. It needs a fine grind. Personally, I grind it at 3/12 (1 - the finest, 12 - the coarsest). In cold coffee, it gives a moderate intensity, which I prefer, while in hot coffee, its full range is apparent, giving a very flavorful and relatively sweet coffee.

Good coffee but I wanted it a little stronger and with more acidity. Okay, after all, the intensity is shown by the number 5 in the characteristics. I wouldn't buy it again.

Careful packaging from the store where I bought it. The coffee, when I tried it for the first time in the coffee maker, I can't say that I was disappointed. Maybe I would buy it again in the future, but it won't be my first choice.

It always matters what you want to compare the coffee with.
Clearly, there are much better coffees and especially blend varieties that are also freshly roasted.
It is not fair to compare them with those because they start from 25 to 27 euros per kilo.
For an economical coffee up to 16 euros per kilo, it is definitely very good.
It is very important what grinder you will use.
No coffee is good on its own or bad on its own.
If you know the conditions and know how to make coffee, even from a bad coffee you can get a satisfactory result.
With a good grinder and a satisfactory coffee maker, it can be the variety that will give you a sweet result. And why not establish it.
Personally, I prefer it when I run out of specialty blends or single-origin coffees.

Very good for its price, without acidity, with good body and good aftertaste. It's not something special like coffees you find on many websites that are freshly roasted. However, it will not disappoint someone who tries it. It is value for money.

I tried the ground version of it on a Delonghi Dedica machine, well, it's very good, the only issue I have is that I generally prefer my coffee to be sweeter, so I usually choose 100% Arabica. This one is slightly bitter, so for those who like acidity, it will be great for them. Personally, I enjoy drinking it, but I prefer a slightly sweeter blend, I usually make a perfect coffee with the classic Illy Arabica. My wife loves the Lavazza Oro, which gives her a bit of bitterness, so I get this one for her and another blend for myself.

It is a blend that is worth drinking only hot, relatively light in taste with good body and aroma, but with a low amount of water to come out as it should. Personally, I prefer stronger blends for freddo espresso, it doesn't work, it comes out watery even if I add 30ml of water per dose.

Unfair coffee... I read some reviews and I really wonder... I've been buying it for over 8 years because it's cheap for what it offers. Wonderful taste and aroma... You can find it in a supermarket in the paper packaging (ground) for 4 euros for 250 grams! That is 16 euros per kilo... If you like 100% arabica, go for it without fear, you won't find a better coffee for this price.
