This is an anime clone of Dark Souls, but don't expect the attention to detail, the combat, and overall satisfaction that the Souls games provide.
The game is clearly inferior in every aspect.
But if you're a big From fan like myself and have completed the Souls games in every possible way multiple times, it's okay to fill up some hours until Elden Ring.
Good graphics, good combat, anime characters, and moderate difficulty.
My main issue is the super boring dream sequences that you can't speed up the dialogues (fortunately, you can skip them completely, but you miss out on plot elements) and the incredibly annoying trend (mostly in Japanese games) with the mute protagonist that everyone talks to but doesn't react.
It is the game you want to get if you like souls like games, it has multiplayer mode in the story, the graphics are good and the characters are more anime-like, the only thing that bothers me is the world which in many points doesn't have anything special to see
I got it because I am a big fan of fromsoft games, but also generally of all souls-like games. First of all, the game is mainly designed for multiplayer as you can play it with another person. If you play it single player, you have an NPC with you that helps you a lot. Now, as for the design and gameplay, I have to say that it was done very hastily. Some areas resemble Dark Souls, some Bloodborne, and some Nioh. The bosses, which are the trademark of souls games, are unacceptable. Most of them can be defeated on the first try just by spamming attacks, while others are excessively difficult due to poor design. They all remind me of bosses from other souls games, not so much in design but in their movements and combos. Overall, mediocre things, I wasn't very impressed with the game. If you are a fan of this genre and really want something like this, give it a try, otherwise, no.
I don't know why this game is so underrated by various Greek reviewers stuck with from software, I found it very good and very entertaining, definitely not as difficult as from's games but not deserving such criticism either.
