Very comfortable once it "breaks in," and I believe it's the most value-for-money adventure boot. In a dirt fall, I didn't feel anything at all while the bike crushed me, and the rest of my leg was purple the next day. The only negative is that they squeak at the hinge when you walk. I put WD-40 on them. They stopped. Now if they shouldn't have... I don't know.
