A.G., a wealthy lady from Rio de Janeiro, who is amateurly involved in sculpture, decides to tidy up her apartment, starting from the room of her former maid. A cockroach emerges from the closet and A.G., frightened, closes the door, crushing its shell. And then, when no one expects it, on a day as sunny as these days in the height of summer, while men work and kitchens smoke and drills grind stones and children laugh - then, without warning, the sound of a solid object shattering is heard.
