The texts of this volume concern the training of Greek educators in primary education. There are three main changes that have imposed training: a) Greece's accession to the European Union and its transformation into a society of immigrant reception, b) the rapid spread of New Technologies, and c) the abolition of Pedagogical Academies.

The purpose of the book is to evaluate the existing experience and propose new directions for training, placing the pedagogical dimension of the process at the center of critical investigation.
