A man, in old age, decides to emigrate from his beloved city, Veria, to a foreign country. He feels the need to bid farewell to the city and the neighborhood where he grew up. He walks through its streets, visits the narrow alleys of his neighborhood, his ancestral home, his school, the churches. Everything brings back memories to his mind. Each thing, every corner, every stone, has something to remind him of.
