It has very good reviews and it is a company that I like, that's why I bought it, but the right sound in everyone's ears is purely a matter of taste. Personally, I don't like the bass it produces, it dirtied the crystal clear sound that the four JBLs I have with an Alpine source were producing, with missing low-mid frequencies that I had to spend quite some time adjusting both on the sub and the Alpine to bring it to my liking, and still it is far from what I consider strong, clean, tight bass. The price is relatively low for a self-amplified subwoofer, and that's why this sound quality is ideal before purchasing it so you could listen to it.
Quite powerful, relatively small in size and overall it is a very nice and honest sub. It goes quite low in frequency due to the 12 inches and is fast even at high levels. It delivers accurate low frequencies in all genres of music. I wouldn't expect anything less from Pioneer.

Guys, I installed it in an Audi with a Kenwood source, including shipping it cost me €220 + the RCA cables that were not included in the package, so we're talking about €230. I played it at full volume and it burned out in just one year.. In my opinion, with this money, get a TRF subwoofer with 350rms for €88 + a 44lt box for €60 + proper wiring (not 1mm power cable like this one) for €37, which adds up to €185. You still have €45 left, so it's better to spend an extra €20 and get a 4-channel amplifier, so that in the future you can connect 2 speakers and have a complete sound system
It was purchased for $175 and it is worth every penny, it is not a 1300w with a built-in amplifier. The only negative is that it does not have settings on a controller so you don't have to go to the amplifier to change the settings, but for someone who doesn't want to deal with amplifiers and such, it is perfect

Something that should be noted and everyone should know is that the yellow and black cables are extremely thin, do not use them, buy a set of cables for the amp, it's a shame to start a fire because of these cables. After a year of use:
The subwoofer has never disappointed me and it is stable without any issues. No distortion in sound no matter how many hours I have used it at maximum volume. It fills the car (Hyundai Getz) comfortably and leaves no complaints.
Now, for those who are concerned about the settings on the subwoofer, I have three things to say:
1. Set the gain to the maximum position without any fear, as both the speaker and the amplifier are underpowered to prevent the user from causing damage to them.
2. The bass boost does not increase the maximum bass that can be produced. Instead, it simply increases the bass at low volume, so you reach the maximum bass before increasing the volume on the radio to the maximum (or close to it). In my opinion, leave the bass boost at 0 to have a more proportional adjustment of the bass compared to the rest of the sound (from the speakers in the doors that produce the midrange and treble).
3. Set the Freq. to the maximum value of 120hz to have a more comprehensive range of sound reproduction. It does not sacrifice the low bass in any way, so feel free to set it up to 120. (Of course, if the radio you are using has settings for the subwoofer and you have connected RCA cables to it, go to the settings (if available) and make the appropriate adjustment there).
Entered Audi s3, because the car is small and makes a lot of noise, I didn't expect it, very high quality. It always plays loud, I haven't noticed any problems so far. NOTE!! It does not have RCA cables inside, I would recommend it
Quite a good speaker with nice bass from the low end. It's not suitable for parties, but I enjoy the bass inside the car. Easy to install if you have some idea about such things. I believe it's worth its money for someone who doesn't have high demands
One of the best subwoofers you can buy at this price! It is self-amplified, so you connect it directly to the radio without dealing with amplifiers and all that, it produces incredible bass even from low frequencies (starting from 40hz), but it is not intended for show-offs. Outside the car, it won't be heard with the doors closed, unless you turn it up all the way, of course, but inside the car, it becomes a literal war even with the gain set to the middle (not even at full)!
- The amplifier actually outputs around 95 watts RMS (clean sound) with a maximum of 120db of noise (measured at 50hz frequency), so there is no relation to the 1300 watts advertised by the company, let's be clear about that, but if you don't care about being heard up to the 3rd floor, I believe you don't need anything more.
- Its strongest point is its reliability, as it won't suffer any damage even if you play it at full volume all day long (as long as the sound doesn't "clip" excessively, what we call clipping). In case you connect the speaker to another amplifier (I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS!!), the speaker can safely handle up to 250 watts.
- The only negative aspect is its size. It is a quite large subwoofer, so be aware that if you choose it, you will lose about half of your trunk space, depending on the car, of course.
CONCLUSION: If you want to listen to VERY LOUD and high-quality bass inside your car, without spending money on amplifiers and dealing with electricians, then buy it blindly!

It was disconnected from my old Volkswagen Golf and connected to a 2006 Honda CRV. The bass fills the large SUV just as comfortably. After 2 years in my possession, it plays like the first day of purchase without any problems even at high volumes. I enjoy it to the fullest every day and I am proud of this purchase!

Good subwoofer, at a good price. It doesn't take up much space (even in a typical hatchback car trunk). It offers what most midwoofers can't offer, but it is not recommended for show-offs.
I was quite skeptical about its performance, but of course I didn't expect anything extraordinary for its price.
I chose this one because I didn't want to deal with amplifiers, additional cables, and subwoofers for many reasons, the main one being space, as my car has a very small trunk.
In terms of performance, it is quite good, but don't expect very low frequencies. It handles frequencies from 40 to 60hz very well.
IMPORTANT NOTICE! The performance varies greatly from car to car. If you have a large car like an SUV or generally large cars, don't bother buying it if you have high expectations.
The connection is quite easy. One cable goes to the battery, one for grounding, one for the command, and one for the RCA which is not included in the package. The only difficult part is that you have to remove some parts from the car in order to pass the cables and not have them loose inside the car.
In short, it's worth its money for those who want enough bass for their parties. Don't expect to put it on and have pedestrians look at you, and also those of you who have coupé cars or generally smaller cars will see better results.
