Description

Those who are systematically involved in written language daily realize that in the texts of modern written communication, either arbitrariness dominates in the use of punctuation marks or, worse, punctuation is completely absent.
The purpose of this book is to present from a different perspective the use of punctuation in written language. By studying the role of punctuation marks in various forms of modern texts, it leads the language user to realize that punctuation marks are not unnecessary or annoying elements of written language, but rather an integral component of quality written communication.

Good book (includes exercises) for those teaching Language. I would like it to be based on more Greek literature (There are not only the books of Bampiniotis, Jartzanos, Tsolakis, and Tsopanakis) but also to have relied on literature newer than '95 (the book was published in 2005 - between '95 and '05 other grammars and/or syntaxes had been published). In general, however, it is very good for someone to be able to remember when and if a period is used, for the use of punctuation marks in general, but above all, the book is written in an accessible and pleasant style and can be read comfortably without making you feel like you are doing compulsory work. I recommend it to all teachers.
