[...] I belong to those researchers who believe that the collection of their work-studies from various journals or dedicated volumes, where they were initially published, in one volume offers opportunities for enthusiasts and researchers to study or even utilize them in their own pursuits. The title of the volume "Encounters" corresponds to the identity of the individual topics, as they are real research encounters with People and events that decisively shaped our history from the recent past to the present.
