Reviews

  • The game is the old and classic Crush. However, they have made the game MUCH more difficult, mainly because the joystick sticks and slips everywhere. Tip: in levels where you get stuck, instead of losing 50 lives, watch a walk through on YouTube. It's TOP for the 23 euros I bought it.

It is as I expected, the remake, just with better graphics and the same story. They brought Crash into the graphics of the era.

However, there have been several flaws in the game (something that concerns the game's Quality Control). Crash's jump doesn't work like in the old title and its slight differentiation has made the game quite difficult in certain levels like the "high road".

Some levels have several glitches that the old Crash Bandicoot didn't have. For example, in the "high road", after losing over 30 lives to correctly calculate the jump between the turtles (fortunately), I ended up finishing the level balancing on the ropes of the bridge.

In some other parts, the game has become slightly easier for the user to enjoy it more (this is positive).

Okay, what can one say about this particular title?
I think it is well-known to most people.
From the PS1, how many controllers have been thrown at the TV, and back then they had glass in front and nothing happened, now you have to be careful!!
Wonderful and beloved Crash with his own unique, for that time, platforming style.
From the first and second that showed progress, to the third that has it all.
My advice is to want to play it before buying it, not just as nostalgia and let it sit on the shelf, it's a shame.

I got it, played 10-15 levels, and got bored of it. Seriously, don't even bother buying it, it's a rushed cash grab for nostalgic players. Classic Activision

I felt a little disappointed while I was eagerly waiting for it. It seemed quite short. If it didn't have this level of difficulty (losing 50 lives in one level), you would finish it in a day.
The positive thing is that you can play the old Crash games again and remember your childhood years...

    Expert user

Just yesterday I put it on my console and I was quite disappointed. So far, I have played the first 6-7 levels of the first game and I got bored pretty quickly.

I remember when it came out in Greece in 1997, I was obsessed and I had played all three Crash games, but now I don't know if I will be able to play them. It seems quite simple and complex for its time. Maybe 30 euros is too much for this supposed remake.

I give it a 3/5 rating due to nostalgia, nothing else. For 30 euros, there are much more beautiful games to play on the Switch.

And I, in turn, was disappointed by the game. I bought it with excitement and nostalgia to play this game again. All those who wrote reviews were people who judged based on the old game, this particular one is not worth it, it is not enjoyable nor does it kill time. The gameplay is terrible, some of its levels are unacceptably difficult (even in the first levels) and they repeat over and over again (like the level with the bridges and the pigs). The difficulty of the levels does not go from easy to boss level, they are all the same. Making a mistake is very easy, I don't know if it's my fault or the game's, but it can take you half an hour or an hour to complete a level. I was not satisfied, for a game with a standard algorithm (e.g. Mario Bros, Donkey Kong), it is quite difficult. It should be more enjoyable. I do not recommend it, those of us who bought it simply fell into the trap of nostalgia!

    Disappointment!
Having played the original Crash games in the '90s, I was eagerly looking forward to playing them on my favorite console with nostalgia...
Repetitive patterns and unimaginative, uncreative levels.
I admit that there has been some improvement in the graphics, but in 2018, many elements of the game are outdated.
The most negative aspect of all? With the slightest wrong move, you lose a life and have to go back to the checkpoint again and again... whether you touch someone or even if you fall into the water, you lose your life, making it tiresome.
Let's hope this poor reissue serves as the foundation for the creation of new Crash games.

Although the gameplay from the Nintendo Direct has not been released yet, it seems perfect to me and I don't care that they have removed the Fur so that it runs without lag and makes the game look more cartoony
