In this concise autobiography, I attempted to record, based on what significant events have remained in my memory, both the period in which I had no involvement in politics (1934-1977) and the period in which I participated in parties or acted alone (1977 until today). In the eighty-two years of this journey, many unexpected changes of course were noted.
My involvement in politics in the last 40 years has given me the opportunity to truly see both our own problems and those taking place on the European and international stage. The 15 years in which I had the honor of being a member of Parliament, both as Minister of Finance and as Vice President of the House and a simple member, I did what I judged was good for the country. I did the same and continue to do so in my articles and books from 1976 until today, without this meaning that I did not make mistakes.
